A device to bend the rolls in a rolling stand, wherein each roll to be bent is rotatably mounted in two corresponding chocks each associated to two series of two double-effect actuators, for a total of four actuators for each chock. Each actuator is disposed on opposite sides of the corresponding chock with respect to the axis of rotation (Y) of the roll to be bent.

Device to absorb the axial loads generated on the rolls in a rolling stand () having a pair of working rolls (), a corresponding pair of back-up rolls () and at least an intermediate roll () located between a working roll () and a corresponding back-up roll (), in said device holding means () are provided to support the axial loads on the back-up rolls () and/or the working rolls () caused by the crossing of said at least one intermediate roll (), so that the axial loads are discharged onto elements with very low rolling friction, totally or almost totally annulling the hysteresis relating to the vertical movements of the back-up rolls () and working rolls () and the relative chocks ().

Device to absorb the axial loads generated on the rolls in a rolling stand

A device to vary the positioning of a rolling roll for plane products, comprising a housing able to support the roll and the respective chocks thereof. On the crossing plane of the roll and at the two sides of every chock a drawing sector is provided for cooperating with drive means, and a transmitter element is present in an intermediate position to achieve an oscillating connection between the drawing sector and the drive means, which are associated with position transducer means and data processing means.
