Modular kit of the spectrally flexible device for bidirectional transmissions of optical signals sensitive to timing in the Internet and other networks in the basic embodiment contains the source of the optical holding signal, which is electrically bi-directionally interconnected with the control electronics module. This source of the optical holding signal is optically interconnected is optically interconnected by its one output via the first isolator and the first wave-sensitive coupler with one optical input/output of the semiconductor optical amplifier and/or the second output of the source of the optical holding signal is interconnected via the second isolator and the second wave-sensitive coupler with the second optical input/output of the semiconductor optical amplifier. Semiconductor optical amplifier is electrically bi-directionally interconnected with the control electronics module, the input of which is connected to the output of the power supply module.

Modular kit of devices for variable distribution, mixing and monitoring of optical signals in the Internet and other networks is formed by an optical module interconnected with a control electronic module of the electronic system with two redundant power supply sources, which is subsequently interconnected with the communication computer module equipped with the user communication interface and the machine communication interface. Optical module has N optical inputs and M optical outputs where N and M are non-zero natural numbers, and in total the optical module contains N&#xd7;M of 2&#xd7;2 type Mach-Zender interferometer optical switching elements. Each of them has two optical inputs, two optical outputs and one electric input. Optical switching elements are mutually interconnected in a grid. Control electronic module is formed by N&#xd7;M pulse-width modulators connected via an interface module to the communication computer module and to the power supply distribution block.

Modular kit of devices for variable distribution, mixing and monitoring of optical signals in the internet and other networks

Device for multicast of optical signals in the Internet and other networks is formed by an electronic part and an optical part. The electronic part consists of a control module, an interface module formed by a power supply block, a block for measuring basic operational parameters of the whole device and an interface, and by a power supply part. The power supply block of the interface module is connected to the power supply part, to the optical part and to the control module. The interface is connected to the optical part and to the control module, and the block for measuring basic operational parameters of the whole device is connected to the power supply part and to the control module. Input/output interfaces involving a standard interface for communication with a user and/or an interface for communication in an Ethernet network and/or an interface via RS 232 and/or an interface for communication via a serial USB bus are connected to the control module. The optical part of the device is designed as a double-stage with a first stage formed by M passive wide-spectrum optical splitters, each of which is equipped with N outputs and a second stage is realized by N wide-spectrum optical switches, each of which is equipped with M inputs.
