An apparatus for a kitchen appliance for handling items to be processed includes a static housing part having an upper axial face, and a rotating ring element having a lower axial face which rests on the upper axial face of a static housing part in the presence of an annular gap there between. The upper axial face and/or the lower axial face and/or the rotating ring element is hereby constructed such as to effect a radial conveying of items being processed in the annular gap.

Device for cutting up foodstuffs

A domestic appliance comprising at least one housing part with a detent element and at least one second housing part with a detent counter-element. Said elements are designed to interconnect the housing parts and are associated with a locking element, which is used to secure the detent elements, when the locking element is in the locked position, from becoming detached from the detent counter-elements. The aim of the invention is to facilitate the assembly and disassembly of the detent device. To achieve this, the locking element comprises a first end that is supported on one of the housing parts and a second end that engages with the detent element in the locked position. The locking element can thus be pivoted back and forth in a simple manner between a release position and a locked position, facilitating a more rapid, simpler assembly and disassembly.

A fruit press containing a centrally arranged element projecting upward from a base to a tip. The element base has an outer annular surface for the pressing of fruit. The annular surface having ridges on the outer surface that run from the base to the tip. The outer surface having trough-like recesses between the ridges with a cross-section substantially in the form of a circle.

A fruit juicer includes an additional switch that determines the speed at which the fruit juicer, i.e., the element that receives the fruit to be squeezed out, revolves. A button, disposed on the outer wall of the housing, actuates a microcontroller such that more power is supplied to the electric motor to make it revolve at a higher speed. The inventive fruit juicer, therefore, allows the juice to be squeezed out from the pulp already removed from the fruit.

Juicer

A juicer has a tilting collecting dish that permits simple, loss-free pouring out of the fruit juice. It is unnecessary to remove the squeeze element with which the citrus fruit was pressed and/or the collecting container surrounding the squeeze element, from which the fruit juice drops into the collecting dish. In order to tilt the collecting dish, two opposing projections are provided on the outer side of the jacket wall thereof, which lie rotatably of pivotally in recesses on the inside of the housing wall.

A fruit juicer has a rotating, upwardly-tapering, centrally-disposed, projecting element, for the pressing of a fruit. The element is surrounded by a collector dish, into which a stationary wall of a fixed annular body extends downwards. A device for compressing the fruit pulp, and thus squeezing additional juice out of the pulp, is formed on the wall. On rotating the collector dish with a motor drive the compression device forces the pulp of the fruit downwards in a generally wedge direction. The additional compression device is one or more blades that are fixed to or formed on the inner side of the projecting wall.

A juicer is driven by an electric motor. The juicer is provided with a centrally-arranged, projecting, upwardly-tapering element, for the pressing of a fruit. The pressing element may be driven by a driveshaft, connected to the element. The driveshaft may be displaced in the axial direction. By pressing downwards on the element, the driveshaft is pressed against a switching means and the electric motor switched on thereby.

A centrifugal juice extractor includes a rotary drum, a friction disk rotating along with the drum, a perforated basket that can be inserted into the drum, and a collecting space for collecting the squeezed juice. The squeezed juice can be directed specifically to the collecting space in that a channelling device that engages over the drum at its top drum border is provided on the perforated basket.

Centrifugal juice extractor

A strainer press for a food processor, which has a pot-shaped straining part that can be placed in a manner proof against rotation in the mixing bowl of the food processor and is provided with through-apertures, and an assigned pressing tool that has, on a hub part that can be coupled to a driveshaft of the food processor, a plurality of pressing blades, which rotate at a short axial distance above the straining part. In the pressing tool, each of the pressing blades is provided, on its side facing the straining part, with a plurality of rib-like protuberances extending substantially over the entire length of the pressing blades and additionally includes, at its trailing end edge in the direction of rotation, a cutting edge projecting toward the straining part. Such a strainer press is notable for a simple structural configuration and efficient operation.
