In one aspect of the present disclosure, an apparatus for delivering a powdered agent into a subject's body may include a powder chamber housing the powdered agent. The apparatus also may include a chassis in fluid connection with the powder chamber. The chassis may include a first passage for receiving a pressurized gas, a second passage for receiving the powdered agent from the powder chamber, and a junction in fluid communication with the first passage and the second passage. At least a first portion of the pressurized gas is introduced into the powdered agent at the junction to fluidize the powdered agent.

Apparatuses and methods for delivering powdered agents

A suture device for use in combination with a delivery system including a lumen extending through the delivery system includes a needle usable to carry a suture, a distal shuttle configured to releasably secure the needle, a sleeve disposable over the distal shuttle, the distal shuttle movable relative to the sleeve between a locked position in which the needle is locked to the distal shuttle and an unlocked position in which the needle is releasable from the distal shuttle. A shaft is operably coupled to the sleeve and a control wire is operably coupled to the distal shuttle. A needle may include a needle cap.

Suture based closure device for use with endoscope

Medical devices for applying a cinch to one or more suture and cutting the suture, and methods for making and using such devices are disclosed. An example medical device may include an elongated shaft, a connection sleeve, a cinch sleeve coupled to the connection sleeve, and a cinch member. An elongated inner shaft may extend through and be longitudinally movable within the elongated shaft, connection sleeve, cinch sleeve, and cinch member.

Suture cinching and cutting device

A medical device includes a mounting structure that is adapted to be secured to a distal end of an endoscope. A first suture arm is pivotably secured to the mounting structure and is adapted to releasably secure a needle that is adapted to puncture tissue while accommodating a suture. A second suture arm is pivotably secured to the mounting structure and is adapted to releasably secure the needle. The first suture arm and the second suture arm cooperate to pass the needle back and forth therebetween along an arcuate path.

A suture assembly includes a translation assembly that is axially translatable within a working channel of an endoscope and is adapted to releasably secure and/or release a needle and a distal end cap that is securable to an end of the endoscope and is adapted to releasably secure and/or release the needle in order to pass the needle back and forth between the translation assembly and the distal cap. Medical devices for applying a cinch to a suture and methods for making and using such devices are disclosed. An example medical device may include an elongated shaft including a proximal region and a distal region. The distal region may define a lumen having a lumen dimeter, and a distally facing end surface. The medical device may also include an outer cinch member defining a bore and having an outer surface defining a shoulder. An elongated inner shaft may extend through and be longitudinally movable within the lumen and the bore and including a distal end section. An inner cinch member may be engaged with the distal end section of the elongated inner shaft.

Device and method for applying a cinch to a suture

A medical device may include a handle and a flexible sheath extending from the handle. The sheath may include a first chamber configured to receive a first agent and a second chamber configured to receive a second agent. Each of the first chamber and the second chamber may be disposed in a distal portion of the sheath. The sheath may also include a first piston received within the first chamber and a second piston received within the second chamber and at least one actuation element configured to transmit a force from the handle to each of the first piston and the second piston. In a first configuration, the first agent may be maintained within the first chamber and the second agent is maintained within the second chamber. In a second configuration, the first agent may be released from the first chamber to mix with the second agent.

Agent delivery devices

Implementations of a delivery device and method are disclosed. One implementation is a delivery device comprising a flow chamber with an inlet port for receiving a fluid flow in the flow chamber, and an outlet port for exiting a material from the flow chamber. The flow chamber may include a formation portion in which a suspension of the material is formed, and a collection portion that directs the suspension toward and/or into the outlet port. An amount of the material may collect in the collection portion adjacent the outlet port. The device may further comprise an insertion port for permitting insertion of the material in the flow chamber, and/or a pusher operable to move the amount of material through the outlet port. Related devices and methods also are disclosed.

Delivery devices and methods

Medical devices for cinching and cutting one or more suture, and methods for making and using such devices are disclosed. An example medical device may include a shaft, a sleeve attached to the shaft, cutter slidable within the sleeve, a cinch sleeve releasably coupled to the sleeve, and a cinch member. An elongated inner shaft may extend through and be longitudinally movable within the elongated shaft, sleeve, cutter, cinch sleeve, and cinch member. The inner shaft may be actuated to cinch and cut one or more suture disposed within the device.

Endoscopic suture cinching and cutting device

A suture device may include a suture translation assembly configured to be axially translatable within a lumen of a delivery system and a distal assembly configured to be securable to the distal end of the delivery system. The suture translation assembly and the distal assembly may cooperate to enable a user to pass a needle back and forth between the two in order to endoscopically suture a defect.

Medical devices for cinch and cutting one or more suture, and methods for making and using such devices are disclosed. An example medical device may include a coupler, a sleeve releasably coupled to the coupler, a cutter slidably disposed within the sleeve, and a suture cinching member movable into and out of the sleeve. A wire may extend through and be longitudinally movable within the coupler to move the suture cinching member and cutter.

A tubular prosthesis that includes a scaffolding formed by at least one scaffolding filament; a cover; and at least one controlled ingrowth feature constructed and arranged to abut an inner surface of a lumen wall when the prosthesis is implanted in the body lumen. The controlled ingrowth feature may extend inwards or outwards from the prosthesis outer surface. The controlled ingrowth feature may be formed by a scaffolding filament; by a separate filament; by the cover; and combinations thereof.
