A high voltage capacitive device having: a non-impregnatable film having a plurality of physically separated regions each defined by a conductive coating provided on the non-impregnatable film, wherein the non-impregnatable film is wound in a plurality of turns to form a plurality of layers, wherein the regions are arranged in overlapping layers in the radial direction, wherein the non-impregnatable film forms a dielectric between adjacent layers of the regions, and wherein the conductive coating of at least some of the regions is provided with a plurality of first radial openings extending through the conductive coating to the non-impregnatable film, which delimits a radial extension of each first radial opening.

This invention relates to a printable composition and in particular to a printable composition for application to an electrochromic and/or electrochemical device. The printable electrolyte composition for the production of electrochemical devices comprises: 20-50% by weight, based on the total amount of the composition, of a thermally-curable base which comprises a resin; 20-70% by weight, based on the total amount of the composition, of a solvent; and 10-50% by weight, based on the total amount of the composition, of an electrolyte, wherein the composition has a viscosity of 0.3 Pas or higher.

The authenticity of a security document, such as a bank note, is verified by use of a security feature arranged in or on the document, which security feature comprises an antenna arranged to receive EM-radiation from an external energy source; a rectifier arranged to receive electric energy from the antenna and convert it into a rectified current; and an electrochromic display arranged to alter its electrochromic state in response to said rectified current. Hence, a security feature able alter its appearance in response to EM-radiation is provided, which comprises a display that can be given a large variety of two dimensional shapes.

In one embodiment of the present invention, a reading device and a method for determining an identity code is disclosed arranged at a package for a product. At least one embodiment of the present invention is based on capacitive measurements performed in capacitors formed between antennas of the reading device and communication areas of the identity code. The reading device is provided with an antenna or activation element for decoupling or minimizing perturbation signals generated in an electrically conductive foil of the package.

Device and method for capacitive reading of a code

A method and device for manufacturing of electrical components on a continuous web or discrete sheets of dielectric material are disclosed. The method includes feeding, from a supply roll of a laminated web or a supply of sheets including at least one unbroken layer of conducting material laminated on a flexible backing layer of dielectrical material, the laminated web or discrete sheets to a nip between a patterned cylinder and a cooperating cylinder, to shape the conducting layer into a repeated pattern of conducting material having ridges and valleys. The method further includes removing, by mechanical machining, conducting material from the thus shaped conducting layer. The removing is performed simultaneously with the step to shape the conducting layer, and by way of the cooperating cylinder, designed as a milling cutter cylinder.
