A package for a product includes a base plate on which the product is disposed, and a bridge disposed on the base plate in overlying relationship to a first portion of the product. A lid is disposed in overlying relationship to a second portion of the product and is secured to the base plate by a sliding connection which guides the lid for limited sliding movement parallel to the base plate to expose the second portion of the product. The sliding connection constrains the lid against dislodgment from the base plate in a direction perpendicular to the base plate. An intermediate plate is disposed between the base plate and the lid and is arranged to prevent the sliding movement of the lid. The intermediate plate is formed of a tearable material, such as cardboard, wherein tearing of the intermediate plate releases the lid for the sliding movement.

A handsaw includes a blade having a toothed cutting edge pivoted to a handle. The handle includes a frame and a tooth protecting element. The tooth protecting element is pivoted to the frame to be swung between a working position and a retracted position. Each of the frame and the tooth protecting element includes a gap, whereby when the tooth protecting element is in a retracted position, the gaps are aligned to receive the blade. When the blade is in a retracted state, a portion of the cutting edge is exposed to enable purchasers or users to know what type of cutting edge is provided on the blade without having to move the blade to a working position.

Foldable handle

A sheath for secateurs comprises an elongated tray provided at an upper end with a mounting clip and at a lower end with an open rim extending along an outer periphery of the tray and consisting of a bottom rim portion and two vertical portions. The sheath is made from a polymer, and the rim vertical portion are elastically deformable and provided with retaining tongues serving to retain a secateur in the sheath. For easy manufacture of the sheath, the tray is provided with openings disposed behind respective ones of the tongues.

A sheath for handsaws of the kind having an elongated toothed blade and a handle at one end includes an elongated body with an open groove along the majority of the length of the body to receive the tooth line of the saw. Near a free lower end, the body carries a cover which releasably holds the free end of the saw blade. At the opposite upper end there is a clamp which releasably holds the handle portion of the saw. This makes it possible to release the saw from the sheath by small, comfortable swinging motions.

A chain saw guide bar allowing spraying of the cut surface of a stump with liquid, is made from three joined plates with a spraying device comprising one or more supply channels provided as cutouts in the central plate. A plurality of spraying holes are provided in one or both side plates. The spraying holes are offset towards the guide bar edge so far that less than the entire area of spraying hole area overlaps the edge of the supply channel.
