The present disclosure relates generally to the field of medical devices and establishing access to body passageways. In particular, the present disclosure relates to devices, systems and methods to facilitate entry of an endoscopic accessory tool into and/or through patient-specific anatomies. For example, the devices, systems and methods of the present disclosure may transmit mechanical motion to the distal end of an endoscopic accessory tool to facilitate atraumatic access to tortuous or otherwise restricted anatomies.

Devices, systems and methods for transmitting motion to the distal tip of an endoscopic accessory tool

An end-effector for a surgical robot system may include an end-effector body and an optical sub-assembly. The optical sub-assembly may include a housing coupled to the end-effector body, the housing including a threaded portion. The optical sub-assembly may further include a window that is transparent to a predetermined range of light radiation wavelengths. The optical sub-assembly may further include a gasket disposed between the housing and the window. The optical sub-assembly may further include a threaded ring disposed over the window and threadedly engaging the threaded portion of the housing, the threaded ring compressing the gasket between the window and the housing to form a seal between the window and the housing. The optical sub-assembly may further include a light emitter configured to emit light in the predetermined range of light radiation wavelengths through the window.

End-effectors for surgical robotic systems having sealed optical components

Some embodiments provide systems, assemblies, and methods of analyzing patient anatomy, including providing an analysis of a patient's spine, and also analyzing the biomechanical effects of implants. In some embodiments, the systems, assemblies, and/or methods can include obtaining initial patient data, acquiring spinal alignment and contour information, acquiring flexibility and/or biomechanical information, registering patient anatomical landmarks of interest relative to fiducial markers, analyzing databases of measurements and patient data to predict postoperative patient outcomes. Further, in some embodiments, the systems, assemblies, and/or methods can assess localized anatomical features of the patient, and obtain anatomical region data. In some embodiments, the systems, assemblies, and/or methods can also analyze the localized anatomy and therapeutic device location and contouring. Further, the systems, assemblies, and/or methods can output localized anatomical analyses and therapeutic device contouring data and/or imagery on a display according to some embodiments.

Intraoperative alignment assessment system and method

A robotic system may include a robot base and a rod feeding subassembly coupled to the robot base that includes a feeding actuator configured to selectively move a surgical rod. The robotic system may include a brake subassembly coupled to the robot base that includes a brake actuator configured to receive the surgical rod from the rod feeding subassembly, and selectively fix a first portion of the surgical rod with respect to the brake subassembly. The robotic system may include a bending subassembly coupled to the robot base that includes a bending actuator configured to selectively rotate to engage a second portion of the surgical rod and bend the second portion of the surgical rod with respect to the first portion of the surgical rod so that the first portion and the second portion of the surgical rod define a first bend angle.

Surgical robotic systems for bending surgical rods, and related methods and devices

The present disclosure relates generally to fluorescent imaging devices, systems, and methods for an endoscopic procedure, and in particular, indocyanine green (ICG) fluorescence. In some embodiments, a device for fluorescent imaging during an endoscopic procedure may include an attachment connectable to a distal end of an endoscope. The attachment may include a first filter alignable with a light source of the endoscope, and a second filter alignable with an imaging device of the endoscope. The first filter may be positionable such that in a first position the first filter is aligned with the light source, and in a second position the first filter is out of alignment with the light source. The second filter may be positionable such that in a first position the second filter is aligned with the imaging device, and in a second position the second filter is out of alignment with the imaging device.

Fluorophore imaging devices, systems, and methods for an endoscopic procedure

A robotic rod bender is disclosed. The robotic rod bender includes an autoclavable top assembly that includes a rod feeding subassembly, a brake subassembly, and a bending subassembly. The rod bending subassembly, the bending subassembly, and the brake assembly are disposed on a top plate. The robotic rod bender also includes a motor housing that includes one or more motors, a spline shaft, and a linear actuated elevator assembly. The linear actuated elevator assembly includes a linear actuator, a movable plate, and a mid-plate. The spine shaft extends from the moveable plate. The autoclavable top assembly is removably disposed atop the mid-plate.

Robotic rod benders and related mechanical and motor housings

Some embodiments provide systems, assemblies, and methods of analyzing patient anatomy including providing an analysis of a patient's spine. Systems providing robotic bending used to bend a surgical rod are disclosed. Such systems may include a processor and memory coupled with the processor. The memory includes computer readable program code so that when the computer readable program code is executed by the processor, the processor performs operations including providing a set of transformation points corresponding to respective attachment implants, generating a bend plan for the surgical rod based on the set of transformation points, and generating an image output to render the set of transformation points and the bend plan on a display. Related methods and computer program products are also discussed.

Methods providing bend plans for surgical rods and related controllers and computer program products

Robotic rod benders are disclosed including a motor housing and a mechanical housing coupled with the motor housing. The motor housing may include first and second rod feeding/rotating motors, a brake motor, a bending motor, first and second rod feeding/rotating transmission inputs, a brake transmission input, and a bending transmission input. The mechanical housing may include a rod feeding/rotating subassembly, a brake subassembly, a bending subassembly, first and second rod feeding/rotating transmission outputs, a brake transmission output, and a bending transmission output. Separate motor and mechanical housings are also disclosed.
