In some examples, a main thread of a plurality of execution threads executing on a plurality of processing cores of at least one hardware-based processor of a network device may receive a request for information associated with network routes that meet one or more criteria. Each of the plurality of execution threads may process a respective routing information partition to generate respective displayable information associated with a respective subset of the network routes that meets the one or more criteria. The main thread may generate consolidated displayable information associated with the network routes that meet the one or more criteria based on the respective displayable information generated by each of the plurality of execution threads. The main thread may output the consolidated displayable information associated with the network routes that meet the one or more criteria for display at a display device.

A method is described and in one embodiment includes receiving at a network node of an Ethernet Virtual Private Network ('EVPN') an unsolicited neighbor discovery ('ND') neighbor advertisement (&#x201c;NA&#x201d;) message transmitted on behalf of a host; updating an ND cache of the network node with data included in the ND NA message; syncing the received ND NA message to a multihoming peer of the network node; and advertising by the network node the ND NA message to other nodes in the EVPN.

A system and method for managing threads and thread requests in an application server. If the application is a thread-partitioned application with a request, the thread manager may determine if an application thread array for the application has less than the maximum number of threads partitioned for the application. If it does, the thread manager may retrieve a thread from the main thread pool, and assign it to the request. If it does not, the thread manager may determine if there are any free threads in an application thread array, and if there are, one of the free threads in the application thread array may be assigned to the request. If there are no free threads available in the application thread array, the request may be added to a ready queue.
