A technique facilitates wellbore operations and utilization of wellbore equipment, e.g. equipment comprising actuation devices for downhole tools. According to an embodiment, the system comprises a pump solution for an electrically control device, e.g. an electrically controlled valve. The system may comprise hydraulic circuitry which utilizes bellows to effectively enclose the hydraulic circuitry. Consequently, the system enables an electrically control downhole system having components hydraulically actuated via a closed loop hydraulic system.

System and method for electro-hydraulic actuation of downhole tools

A technique provides enhanced control over a variety of hydraulically actuated devices, e.g. flow control valves. A hydraulic control module is placed in hydraulic communication with an actuator of a hydraulically actuated device. The hydraulic control module comprises features which prevent hydraulic locking of the system. Additionally, the control module may comprise metering features to enable metered flow of actuating fluid. The features may include valves, mini-indexers, flowline configurations, or other features which maintain the ability to shift the hydraulically actuated device and/or provide metering of the actuating fluid.

Hydraulic metering system for downhole hydraulic actuation

A controllable, multi-zone control system is provided for controlling the inflow of fluids into a completion, e.g. a lateral completion, at a plurality of well zones. According to an embodiment, flow control devices are distributed along the completion and a control module is positioned between the flow control devices, e.g. in a middle region of the completion. The control module is supplied with hydraulic actuating fluid and is electrically controllable to enable selective distribution of the hydraulic actuating fluid to selected flow control devices via a hydraulic actuating line and a hydraulic return line. The control module may be controlled via electric signals, thus controlling distribution of hydraulic actuating fluid under pressure to selected flow control devices so as to shift the selected flow control devices to a desired flow positions.

Active flow control with dual line multizone hydraulic power distribution module

A technique facilitates control over at least one flow control assembly position to control fluid with respect to a tubing string. The flow control assembly is disposed along the tubing string and comprises a flow control valve and a motor to control the operational position of the flow control valve. The flow control valve may comprise a plunger and a seal system to provide a seal between the plunger and a surrounding structure. Additionally, the flow control valve comprises a pressure balanced system. The pressure balanced system serves to balance pressure acting on the plunger such that the motor is able to move the plunger by simply overcoming friction of the seal system without overcoming a pressure differential otherwise acting on the plunger.

Active flow control with multizone hydraulic power distribution module

A technique facilitates active zonal control over the inflow of fluids into a lateral wellbore completion at individual well zones of a plurality of well zones. The completion may comprise a plurality of sand screens through which inflowing fluids pass before entering an interior of the completion, e.g. before entering an interior of a completion base pipe. A control module is positioned along the completion between well zones. The control module is controlled via electrical control signals and is operatively connected with a plurality of intelligent flow control devices which are located along the completion in corresponding well zones. Based on signals received, the control module individually controls the intelligent flow control devices to allow or block flow into an interior of the completion at each well zone.
