An air venting system includes, among other things. A box of a truck. The box provides a cargo area. The system further includes a cab back panel of the truck. The cab back panel has an exposed section that provides a front wall of the cargo area. The cab back panel has a hidden section outside the cargo area. An air extractor is held within the hidden section of the cab back panel.

A continuous sealing flat for a truck cargo box for a unibody motor vehicle includes a pair of parallel opposed top side rails and a cab back panel disposed between and orthogonally thereto. A central portion of the cab back panel has a central ledge having a substantially flat upper surface extending horizontally between each of the pair of parallel opposed top side rails. A pair of corner members is disposed over and proximate a forward end of each of the parallel opposed top side rails. This disclosure relates to various modules for use relative to a cargo area of a pickup truck. The modules are configured to provide the cargo area with additional functionality, such as providing a storage compartment or a support for one or more electronic components. The cargo area can be customized by mounting specific modules at one of a number of predetermined locations within the cargo area.

A cargo box of an exemplary truck bed assembly may include at least two different floor-to-side wall mating configurations, and each of the at least two different mating configurations is non-visible from within a cargo space established by the cargo box. In addition, each of the at least two different mating configurations may include a fastener, such as a weld, an adhesive, and/or a bolt, for adjoining adjacent mating surfaces of the cargo box floor and side wall.

The spacing member is positioned relative to the cross member to define an enclosed cavity between the spacing member and the cross member. The floor structure also includes a first collar affixed within the enclosed cavity. A fastener extends through the spacing member and the cross member, and compresses the first collar when the floor structure is secured to the chassis frame.
