An exemplary apparatus is configured to determine user information and account information associated with a user; adjust offer information associated with an offer based on the user information and the account information, wherein the offer enables the user to receive at least one of a discount or a rebate on a purchase from a merchant; and transmit the adjusted offer to the user.

Embodiments of the invention are directed to systems, methods and computer program products for determining offers based on life events. An exemplary apparatus is configured to determine a life event based on at least one of user information or account information associated with a user of a financial institution account; project a timeline of future events based on the life event; determine an offer associated with a future event, wherein the offer enables the user to receive at least one of a discount or a rebate on a purchase transaction; and transmit the offer to the user near in time to the future event's projected occurrence.

Embodiments of the invention are directed to a system, method, or computer program product for providing a modified online shopping experience to users. The modified online shopping experience presents offers to a user when the user is viewing a merchant online. The offers may be specifically tailored to the interests of the user viewing the merchant online. In this way, the system determines offers that the user may be interested in based on merchant data and financial institution data associated with the user. The tailored offers may be based on merchant data, such as previously accepted offers, loyalty accounts or the like and/or financial institution data such as products purchased, transaction history, and the like. The tailored offers that match the interest of a user may then be presented on the interface, website, or the like that the user is viewing when viewing a merchant online.

Online shopping experience modification

The business community hub application provides a business customer the ability to add an event or offer to the community hub that can be accessed by individual customers or business customers. The business community hub application also notifies business customers of offers provided by other businesses or about local community events in which the business customer may be interested. The business customers have the ability to find contacts and network with other local businesses. The business community hub application also uses transaction information available to the bank to display market data and trends that may be of interest to the business customer. In this way, the business community hub works with the online banking application as a tool for local businesses, it allows business customers to interact with individual customers, the community in general, as well as other businesses, in a forum for exchanging products, services, and information.

Business customer community hub

The business review application provides a customer with a bank-hosted business review platform that provides an advertising and feedback service for the bank's business customers and provides a rating, review, feedback, and recommendation service for the bank's individual and business customers. Thus, the bank's customers can rate and review the bank's business customers. The bank uses its authentication systems used by its customers to access online banking services to authenticate the identity of the customer creating a business review in the business review platform. In some embodiments, the business review application only permits its customers to make one review of a business within a certain period of time or one review after a transaction with that business shows up in the customer's transaction information maintained by the bank. In this way, the bank can host a review platform that is much more accurate and trust-worthy than traditional business review platforms.
