Examples are disclosed for systems and methods for supporting transmission of audio streams (e.g., streams of audio data or audio information) for different audio signals to different end-point devices. In one embodiment, a method comprises forming, with a Bluetooth® Classic or BR/EDR based master circuitry, a piconet with a plurality of Bluetooth® Classic or BR/EDR based slave circuitries through a respectively corresponding plurality of point-to-point wireless connections; and generating, from the master circuitry, a plurality of streams of packets respectively corresponding to the plurality of point-to-point wireless connections, wherein the plurality of streams of packets respectively correspond to a plurality of distinct transport identifiers; wherein the plurality of streams of packets carry audio data for different audio channels; and wherein the plurality of streams of packets are for BR/EDR transmission in compliance with revision 2.0 of the Bluetooth® core specification.

Systems and methods for wireless audio

In at least one embodiment, a system for synchronizing an audio stream is provided. The system includes a first loudspeaker and an audio controller. The first loudspeaker plays back a first audio output signal including first signature information. The audio controller provides a first audio input signal and superimpose the first signature information on the first audio input signal. The audio controller receives the first audio output signal including the first audio packets and the first signature information and to detect the first signature information. The audio controller determines a delay attributed to a transmission of the first audio input signal and the first audio output signal based on the first signature information and synchronizes the transmission of a second audio input signal from the audio controller to the first loudspeaker with the playback of another audio output signal from a second loudspeaker based at least on the delay.

System and method for synchronization of multi-channel wireless audio streams for delay and drift compensation

Methods and systems are provided for extending ranges of a plurality of voice assistant systems and interacting with the plurality of voice assistant systems using a common beacon network system. In one example, the beacon network system includes at least one primary beacon device communicatively coupled to and/or within corresponding listening ranges of one or more voice assistant systems, and a plurality of secondary beacon devices communicatively coupled to the primary beacon device and distributed within an operating environment. The beacon network system enables multi-user interaction with the plurality of voice assistant systems. Further, the beacon network system is scalable and may be deployed in a wide range of operating environments (e.g., operating environments of various sizes).

Systems and methods for voice exchange beacon devices

One or more embodiments include a direct message handler module executing on an endpoint device, such as a direct message handler device. The direct message handler module receives first sensor data via a first sensor. The direct message handler module receives, from a first coordinator, a command to perform a first operation, the first coordinator being selected from a plurality of endpoint devices that includes the first endpoint device. In response to receiving the command, the direct message handler module performs the first operation to extract a first feature from the first sensor data. The direct message handler module transmits a first message that includes data associated with the first feature to the plurality of endpoint devices.

Scalable distributed data architecture

A wireless audio guide system for an exhibition area. The system includes a BLE chip transmitting a beacon containing audio guide data associated with at least one exhibit in the exhibition area. The beacon is transmitted at predetermined intervals. A mobile device, within a predetermined range of the at least one exhibit, captures the beacon and links the mobile device to an audio file that is played back at the mobile device.

Wireless audio guide

A cloud-based equalizer system for a plurality of smart speakers. Each speaker has a wireless range extender connecting to a wireless access point to directly send and receive data, including audio packet transmissions, to and from the cloud. Equalizer settings associated with the audio packet transmissions are retrieved from a cloud-based search and are communicated to and implemented by at least one of the speakers in the plurality of smart speakers. A wireless communication protocol prioritizes audio packet transmissions over other data that may be transmitted to and from each speaker.

Examples are provided for locating an emergency vehicle relative to another vehicle. An example in-vehicle computing system of a first vehicle includes an alert output device, a sensor subsystem communicatively coupled to one or more of an audio sensor and an image sensor, a processor, and a storage device storing instructions executable by the processor to, responsive to detecting the audible or visual indicator of the emergency vehicle, estimate a location of the emergency vehicle based on one or more parameters of the audible or visual indicator, present an alert when the estimated location of the emergency vehicle is within an actionable region relative to the first vehicle, the alert including an indication of the estimated location of the emergency vehicle, and present no alert or a reduced alert when the estimated location of the emergency vehicle is not within the actionable region.
