In computing, an unresolved problem of high manual effort required for mapping data attributes between the source and the target systems involved in process of the data transformation. This disclosure relates to method of auto-mapping of a plurality of source data attributes and a plurality of target data attributes associated with one or more applications based on similarity of a metadata information is provided. The processor implemented method include processing, a corresponding source table to a target table based on similarity associated with a table name; determining, a candidate source data attributes for at least one target data attribute based on similarity associated with a data attribute name; computing, a weighted score of each of the candidate source data attributes for corresponding at least one target data attribute; and mapping, the weighted score to determine an association of a final data attribute.

Techniques for consent centric data compliance checking are disclosed. In an example embodiment, multiple applications associated with an organization are received. Further, a purpose for each of the multiple applications associated with the organization is derived. Furthermore, consents of data subjects are captured for the derived purpose of each of the multiple application in a data subject preference master. Also, reconciliation of the data subject preference master and data subjects' data available in the organization is performed to determine consent lacking information.

A method and system to identify similar names and addresses from given data set comprising plurality of names and addresses. The invention more specifically addresses the challenge faced in Spanish data quality assurance. The name and data is parsed through parsing engine to parse the plurality of Spanish names and addresses. The parsed Spanish names and addresses are sent to a Probable identification engine to identify the probable matches. The combination of name and address matching process can be used for assuring data quality for Spanish names and addresses. The Spanish name matching process consists of identification of probable matches and finding similarity percentages between those probable. Similarly, the Spanish address matching process consists of identification of probable matches (criteria like same city) and finding similarity percentages between those probable. The system includes a parsing engine, a probable identification engine and a match percentage calculation engine.
