An advertisement system that provides subscribers with the most relevant advertisements based on their individual purchase prediction of the various products and contextual information such as location, ongoing public events, festivals and personal events. The system customizes the advertisements to suit the audiovisual, language, and textual caption preferences of the subscribers. System provides for tracking of various promotional offers made to the subscribers from the time the offer is made to the time it is redeemed by the subscriber. System consists of methods to learn (a) purchase predictions (b) preferred streaming schedule and (c) the subscriber's preferences in terms of audiovisual aspects of the advertisements. Purchase prediction for individual subscriber is derived from historical purchase data by time series analysis and the influence of events such as co-purchases of other products and organized events such as sales exhibitions and festivals is derived based on Bayesian network models.

System and method for selective transmission of multimedia based on subscriber behavioral model

Video processing in general and image processing in particular is a very complex process. This is more so when the analysis is required to extract information from the images for providing of the same directly or indirectly to the users. This additional complexity is due to the direct competition with users who are used to analyzing of the images both syntactically and semantically. One of the ways to contain the complexity of image analysis is to exploit the domain semantics during image processing. A system and method to help in semantics based image processing involves the identification of one or more domain relevant semantic hierarchies and using of the same during image processing.

System and method for hierarchical image processing

The use of mobile wireless devices is on the increase. Mobile manufactures design, develop, and release new devices to the market at regular intervals. In order to keep the market leadership, such companies need to have techniques, processes, and tools to quickly design and test their products. One of the important requirements of a communicating device is its reliability and traditionally, testing has been playing a major role in assessing and improving the reliability of the devices. However, testing in general and testing of mobile wireless devices in particular, requires complementary testing in realistic environments. A system for automating much of the testing of mobile, wireless devices in a realistic environment involves (a) identifying test cases that need to be tested in outdoor environments; (b) identifying environment conditions that should prevail during the execution of test cases; (c) planning and scheduling of test cases; (d) identifying the occurrence, in real-time, of environmental conditions; (e) automatically executing the appropriate test cases and generation of test results; and (f) group testing to efficiently test as much as possible whenever environment is test conducive.

System and method for self-testing of mobile wireless devices

The use of a variety of plastic cards to carry out monetary transactions is on the increase. It is important to ensure that such transactions are authenticated, authorized, and accounted in a best possible manner to prevent fraudulent transactions. However, as much the transactions are being protected, the fraudsters are becoming that much more cleverer and are being able to break into the system. One of the important requirements is to protect transactions of cash cards as these cards seem to be an easier target for fraudsters. A system for cash card fraud detection involves ensuring that a cash card user's unique 'signature' is determined and kept track of during the course of the use of the cash card.
