A method for maintenance of a machine among a fleet of machines includes receiving a service request corresponding to the machine. The method also includes obtaining a service architecture corresponding to the fleet of machines. The service architecture includes a service dictionary and a plurality of classification schemes organized in a tree data structure. The method also includes processing the service request based on the service dictionary and a text parsing technique to generate a list of descriptive words. The method includes generating a recommendation based on the list of descriptive words and the service architecture. The recommendation includes at least one of an on-line repair activity, an on-site repair activity and a part replacement activity. The method also includes servicing the fault condition of the machine based on the recommendation.

System and method for maintenance of a fleet of machines

The present discussion relates to generating power generation forecasts both on-site and remote to a wind farm, or other intermittent power generation asset, so as to increase the reliability of providing a forecast to interested parties, such as regulatory authorities. Forecasts may be separately generated at both the on-site and remote locations and, if both are available, one is selected for transmission to interested parties, such as regulatory authorities. If, due to circumstances, one forecast is unavailable, the other forecast may be used in its place locally and remotely, communications permitting.

Method and system to optimize availability, transmission, and accuracy of wind power forecasts and schedules

In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a memory and a processor operatively coupled to the memory. The processor is configured to receive an electronic document having a set of pages, and partition a page from the set of pages of the electronic document into a set of portions. The processor is configured to convert each portion of the set of portions into a negative image of a set of negative images. The processor is configured to produce, based on an artificial intelligence algorithm, a de-noised negative image of each negative image and convert each de-noised negative image of a set of de-noised negative images into a positive image of a set of positive images, and combine each positive image of the set of positive images to produce a de-noised page. The de-noised page has artifacts less than artifacts of the page of the electronic document.

Systems and methods for improved wind power generation

A method for classifying a tissue sample of a biopsy specimen into one of a plurality of classes is presented. The method includes receiving a light from at least one location of the tissue sample including a plurality of chromophores, wherein the received light comprises at least one of an attenuated illumination light and a re-emitted light. The method further includes processing a spectrum of the received light to determine a feature for each of the chromophores in the at least one location of the tissue sample. In addition, the method includes estimating a Z-score for each of the chromophores based on the determined feature. Also, the method includes classifying the tissue sample into one of the plurality of classes based on the estimated Z-score for each of the chromophores.

System and method for optical biopsy tissue characterization

Methods, systems and computer program products for identifying components of an unknown mixture using spectral analysis techniques. The method includes comparing the spectrum of the unknown mixture with the spectra of library compounds to obtain candidate mixture combinations. A model is generated for each of the candidate mixture combinations based on a modeling metric. A residual spectrum is computed corresponding to each of the candidate mixture combinations by removing the spectrum of each of the compounds of the candidate mixture combination from the spectrum of the unknown mixture. One or more potential compounds are identified by comparing the residual spectrum with the spectrum of library compounds. The potential compounds are added to the candidate mixture combinations to generate an updated list of the candidate mixture combinations. The search algorithm repeats the steps described above on the updated candidate mixture combinations, until a first termination condition is satisfied.
