Techniques allow a computer to responsively search for graph shapes similar to a user-selected graph shape much faster. Data can be pre-processed and stored as vectors, along with an index. The index can be used to find similar vectors that represent graph shapes similar to a user-selected shape in a computationally efficient manner. Vectors of multiple resolutions can be used to anticipate different sizes of a graph that a user can select, and comparisons can be repeated and refined. When a satisfactorily small number of candidate vectors are determined, more computationally intensive distance calculations can be performed on data reconstructed from the vectors.

System and methods for faster processor comparisons of visual graph features

A system for troubleshooting network problems is disclosed. A model can use demographic information, network usage information, and network membership information to determine an importance of a problem. The importance of the problem for the user who reported the problem, a number of other users affected by the problem, and the importance of the problem to the other users can be used to determine a priority for resolving the problem. Before and after a work order is executed to resolve the problem, network metrics can be gathered, including aggregate network metrics, and automatically presented in various user interfaces. The analysis of the metrics can be used to update a database of which work orders are assigned in response to which problems.

Computer network troubleshooting

Computer-implemented systems and methods are disclosed to interface with one or more storage devices storing a plurality of documents, wherein each of the plurality of documents is associated with one or more tags of one or more predefined hierarchies of tags, wherein the one or more hierarchies of tags include multiple dimensions. In accordance with some embodiments, a method is provided to identify one or more documents from the data storage devices. The method comprises acquiring, via an interface, a selection of one or more tags of the one or more predefined hierarchies of tags. The method further comprises identifying one or more documents from the data storage devices in response to the selection, the identified one or more documents having tags that have a relationship with the selected tags, and providing data corresponding to the identified documents for displaying in the interface.

Systems and methods for organizing and identifying documents via hierarchies and dimensions of tags

A database system is described that includes components for storing time-series data and executing custom, user-defined computational expressions in substantially real-time such that the results can be provided to a user device for display in an interactive user interface. For example, the database system may process stored time-series data in response to requests from a user device. The request may include a start time, an end time, a period, and/or a computational expression. The database system may retrieve the time-series data identified by the computational expression and, for each period, perform the arithmetic operation(s) identified by the computational expression on data values corresponding to times within the start time and the end time. Once all new data values have been generated, the database system may transmit the new data values to the user device for display in the interactive user interface.
