State of the art track width adjustment mechanism fail to support track width adjustment while vehicle is in motion. They also require manual intervention, which causes inconvenience. The disclosure herein generally relates to wheel track adjustment, and, more particularly, to a changeable wheel track mechanism for track width adjustment (referred to as TWA mechanism). The TWA mechanism includes a steer and drive unit, a plurality of links, and a sliding unit. The TWA mechanism allows movement of a wheel in inward and outward directions, causing the track width adjustment. The track width is achieved by changing the wheel position to be at a wider position, or a narrower position, or any intermediate position. The TWA mechanism may be associated with any vehicle for which the track width adjustment is to be achieved.

Changeable wheel track mechanism for track width adjustment

Traditionally, counterweight fork type autonomous mobile robots (AMR) have been used for any kind of pallet. But the challenge is it occupies lot more maneuvering space while making turns, which cannot work in narrow operating zones. Hence fork over AMR is preferred. However, these fork over AMR have extended parts always touching the ground surface and thus are not suitable for pallets with a wooden plank at the bottom of the fork opening in the pallet. To overcome the above technical problems, an Adjustable Counterweight-based Fork Type Autonomous Mobile Robot (ACFTAMR) is provided that includes chassis assembly and vertical mast unit, a horizontal cross slide mechanism and forks. The chassis assembly is provided counterweight assembly and counterbalance shafts that move forward and backward during pickup and release of payload when the vertical mast unit moves in upward/downward direction, thus providing better stability and counterbalance to the ACFTAMR.

Adjustable counterweight-based fork type autonomous mobile robot

There is huge demand for automation in manufacturing, logistics, postal, distribution centers, ecommerce, retail. Typical scissor lift designs can carry large payload but are larger in size. There is a need for a compact fork with more payload carrying capacity. The dual side actuated scissor fork type lift unit is provided. The dual side actuated scissor fork type lift unit includes a top plate, a bottom plate, one or more linear motion (LM) blocks mounted on one or more linear guides, one or more mounting blocks mounted on the one or more LM blocks, and slot on a first end of at least one actuation link is connected to the bottom plate through a pin. The one or more LM blocks is free to slide on the one or more linear guides. The one or more mounting blocks moves along with a motion of the one or more LM blocks.

Dual side actuated scissor fork type lift unit for lifting plurality of payloads

Material handling of packed goods on pallets, roller cages within facilities is in huge volumes and consumes lot of operators' time and efforts. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an autonomous payload handling apparatus (APHA) that addresses the above material handling process by automating with an intelligent modular robotic platform. The APHA includes fork assemblies that slides alongside of the pallet for better balance over payload and maintains smooth navigation. The fork assemblies equipped with contact/vision sensors that enable APHA to determine whether there is any offset or any contact between surfaces of APHA and/or pallet. The fork assemblies capture sensor data of surrounding object(s) during navigation, size of payload, and pallet, etc. The captured sensor data enables the APHA to correct its offset and/or compute a mode of approach (e.g., navigating angle, deviating from obstacle(s), sliding through pallet/roller cages, and the like) to handle payload(s).

This disclosure relates generally to a mobile robotic manipulator with telepresence system which includes a chassis assembly, a tilting arm assembly, and a rotary gripper assembly. The chassis assembly includes a chassis plate which mounts plurality of drive motors coupled with plurality of omni wheels through plurality of L mounting brackets; plurality of anti-toppling arms includes a plurality of linear guides which is mounted on a C mount plate; and plurality of linear actuators is mounted to expand or retract the plurality of anti-toppling arms. The tilting arm assembly includes a bottom fixed end of a front long actuator is mounted to a large rotating plate through plurality of C clamps. The rotary gripper assembly includes a top plate of a gripper is mounted and separated by gap with a bottom plate of the gripper to place a gripper actuator on top surface of the bottom plate of the gripper.

Mobile robotic manipulator with telepresence system

This disclosure relates generally to systems and methods for data acquisition and asset inspection in presence of magnetic interference. Data acquisition and assets inspection systems in many infrastructures such as railway, power line, and bridges provide inaccurate results in presence of magnetic interference. The proposed system and method proposes UAV based navigation through a dynamic correction path to inspect one or more assets in one or more infrastructures. A plurality of sensors are integrated with the UAV to acquire images of the one or more assets in presence of magnetic field. The acquired images are further processed to segment and detect anomalies in one or more parts of the one or more assets. The detected anomalies are further classified as potential anomalies and non-potential anomalies. The proposed method provides accurate results with reduced processing time.
