A liquid electrophotographic ink developer comprises a developer roller () rotatable about an axis, first and second electrodes () proximate the developer roller () and an inlet chamber () extending along the axis from a first end adjacent an inlet opening () to a second end opposite the first end. A neck () forms an uninterrupted ink flow path from the inlet chamber () to the developer roller ().

In one embodiment, an inkjet printer includes: a first series of print bars arranged along an arc on a first side of an arched printing unit and a second series of print bars arranged along an arc on a second side of the arched printing unit and a dryer positioned within a footprint of the arched printing unit. A plurality of web guides are arranged to guide the web along a duplex printing path past the first print bars for printing on a first side of the web, then through the dryer for drying the first side of the web, then past the second print bars for printing on a second side of the web, and then through the dryer for drying the second side of the web.

In one embodiment, a system for delivering liquid to a printhead at a first elevation. The system includes a reservoir to hold liquid at a second elevation, which is below the first elevation. A pump delivers liquid from the reservoir to the printhead through a first line. A bypass valve diverts liquid from the first line when a pressure in the first line exceeds a predefined pressure. A vent coupled to the printhead at or above the first elevation vents the printhead to atmospheric pressure when the pump is off.

Inkjet web printer

In one embodiment, a web printer includes a base, an arched member detachably supported on the base for supporting a web, and multiple print bars each detachably supported on the arched member. A positioning system is operatively connected between the arched member and the base when the arched member is supported on the base for aligning the arched member to the base. In one embodiment, the web printer also includes a second positioning system operatively connected between each print bar and the arched member when the print bar is supported on the arched member for aligning the print bars to the arched member.

Web printer and support structure

A rotary driven drum-shaped dispenser for fluid materials is disclosed. The drum is comprised of a plurality of nested rings each of which has a plurality of arcuate channels through which the fluid material is passed during rotation of the drum. An adjustable valve is positioned at the inlet end of each flow channel. The end bells of the drum have covered access openings for filling the drum with fluid material to be dispensed. A divider within the drum separates the drum chamber into two chambers so that separate materials may be dispensed simultaneously without pre-mixing.
