A cartomizer for an electronic cigarette having an elongated, hollow body with a mouthpiece in a first end and a battery coupling in an opposite second end. An atomizing coil is disposed in the body generally perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the cartomizer and has positive and negative terminal leads pressfit connected to positive and negative terminals separated by an insulative spacer in the battery coupling. A fibrous wick is inserted inside the atomizing coil and a cloth tube is disposed generally parallel to the longitudinal axis of the cartomizer and extends from the atomizing coil to the mouthpiece. A volatile liquid mixture of preferably 80% propylene glycol and 20% veggie glycol with liquid nicotine and/or flavoring is disposed in the body.

A leash assembly includes a housing having a hand grip. A leash forming part of the assembly includes a first end and a second end that defines a leash handle. An intermediate section of the leash is extendable and retractable through the housing. The assembly also includes features for allowing travel of the leash in a first direction through the housing in response to a user pulling on the leash handle, and simultaneously preventing travel of the leash in an opposite second direction through the housing. Another feature of the assembly allows selective disengagement of the leash so that it may travel in the opposite second direction through the housing.

A sports helmet includes a liner comprised of impact resistant material and a protective shell encasing an outer surface of the liner. A female audio jack is secured within a rear cavity of the liner and has an aperture extending without the liner for receiving a male audio jack connected to a portable audio device. A pair of cavities are formed on opposite sides of the liner in which are secured speakers. Wiring extends from the female audio jack to the integral speakers. The speakers are positioned and oriented such so as to provide audio to the helmet wearer without blocking surrounding sound, and without affecting the safety aspects of the helmet.

A chain sprocket includes a disc-like base having an outer rim with teeth on an outer periphery thereof, a hub having a crank arm-accepting slot formed therein, and a plurality of spokes extending radially from the hub to the outer rim. Stiffening fins are formed integrally with at least some of the spokes. The stiffening fins extend axially from one side of the base, have a greatest axial dimension adjacent to the hub, and taper towards the outer rim to provide the sprocket with axial reinforcement.
