A container () having a main body () including one or more sidewalls () having an interior surface () and an exterior surface () and defining an interior compartment (), the one or more sidewalls having an upper portion () defining a circular opening () to the interior compartment and an annular flange () extending from the exterior surface and a lid-collar assembly () comprising a lid () attached to a collar () affixed to the main body, the collar having an inner side surface () positioned radially outward of the annular flange and a plurality of longitudinally extending ribs () spaced apart on the inner side surface, wherein the plurality of ribs engage the annular flange to resist rotation of the lid-collar assembly relative to the main body.

A sealed container for packaging of granular or powdered product including a rigid container body defining an interior space and an upper portion, the upper portion having a sealing lip that defines an opening to the interior space, and a flexible, polymer sealing membrane removably attached to the sealing lip to cover the opening, the sealing membrane including a plurality of laser generated micro-perforations formed through the sealing membrane, the size of each of the plurality of laser generated micro-perforations being less than 3.937 mils.

An adaptortemporarily transforms a valved urinary catheterinto one that permits continuous fluid flow by deforming the valve. The adaptorincludes a tubethat sealingly engages into the catheter outlet tubeand is provided with an actuator memberextending therefrom that engages the catheter valve. The actuator memberis sized to allow urine to flow therearound and into the tube, when the memberextends into engagement with the valve to deformably open same. However, the actuator memberis of a smaller diameter than the tube, and therefore does not greatly deform the valvethereby avoiding damage to the valve. The adaptoradditionally includes a releasable clipthat augments the frictional fit between the outlet tubeof the catheterand the adaptor. The clipcan also be sized to interact with a portion of the catheteror the valve housingto ensure the adaptoris inserted an appropriate distance into the catheter

A flow control valve () such as for a catheter () allows discharge of urine from a bladder () by manual actuation. The valve () may be a double-duckbill valve () with a single slit () at one apex () thereof. An elastomeric band () is positioned in a groove () of the valve member (). An isolation member such as a stem () spaces the valve () from the walls () of the valve housing (). Crush limiting structure, such as a tube () or blade (), is provided within valve member (), or stop elements (or) are positioned external to valve member ().
