Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide electromagnetic based secure contact-less integrity verification for an integrated circuit. In one example, an embodiment provides for mapping a signal to a pseudo-random number generator (PRNG) seed value, generating a PRNG output digital signal based on the PRNG seed value, encrypting the PRNG output digital signal based on a cipher function and a key, and generating an electromagnetic signal associated with the PRNG output digital signal to facilitate non-contact sensing of the electromagnetic signal by a probing system.

Electromagnetic based secure contact-less integrity verification of hardware and/or software for integrated circuits

A mask apparatus that is configured to prevent airborne pathogens from reaching an individual by actively mitigating airborne droplets that have a pathogen. In one example, the mask apparatus comprises a sensor device, a mitigator device, and a controller. The sensor device comprises an aerosol detector that is configured to perform a light measurement of an airborne aerosol droplet in an area proximate to the wearable apparatus. The mitigator device is configured to initiate a mitigation action directed at the airborne aerosol droplet. The controller is data communication with the sensor device and the mitigator device. The controller is configured to determine that the airborne aerosol droplet has a pathogen based at least in part on the light measurement captured by the sensor device and cause the mitigator device to initiate the mitigation action based on the airborne aerosol droplet having the pathogen.

System and method for closed-loop active sensing and protection against airborne pathogens

An adaptive line driver circuit configured to transmit a signal over a wired link includes a delay-locked loop (DLL) circuit, which includes a phase detector (PD) circuit, charge pump (CP) circuit, and voltage-controlled delay line (VCDL) circuit operatively coupled together. The delay-locked loop circuit provides pre-emphasis and feed-forward equalization of the signal. The delay locked loop circuit also provides a user-configurable parameter including at least one of pre-data tap amplitude, data tap amplitude, post-data tap amplitude, pre-data tap duration, post-data tap duration, pre-data tap quantity, and post-data tap quantity. The adaptive line driver circuit further includes a source-series terminated (SST) driver circuit operatively coupled to the delay-locked loop circuit.

User-configurable high-speed line driver

In an example, a system includes a plurality of acoustically coupled nodes. Each of the nodes includes a transducer, a communication circuit and a controller. The transducer is adapted to be mechanically coupled to a medium. The communication circuit is coupled to the transducer to send and receive acoustic signals via the medium according to at least one communication parameter. The controller is to adaptively configure the at least one communication parameter of the communication circuit based on an acoustic signal received from at least one other of the nodes.

Acoustic sensing nodes and related systems and methods

An exemplary integrated nuclear quadrupole resonance-based detection system comprises a front-end device having a hand-held form factor, wherein the front-end device is configured to scan a sample in or near a sample coil using inbuild electronics and acquire a nuclear quadrupole resonance measurement. The system further includes a swappable sample coil that is attached to an opening at a face of the front-end device and is tuned to a resonant frequency of the sample; and a swappable impedance matching network that is attached to the opening at the face of the front-end device and is configured to tune the resonant frequency of the sample coil. The inbuild electronics comprises a wireless transfer module that is configured to communicate the acquired nuclear quadrupole resonance measurement with a back-end device of the integrated nuclear quadrupole resonance-based detection system. Other systems and methods are also provided.

System and method for hand-held NQR-based in-field screening of substances

An example multi-channel magnetic resonance (MR) system is described. The system includes a plurality of radio frequency (RF) coils and a plurality of spectrometer transceiver channels. Each of the channels including a spectrometer coupled a respective set of the RF coils. The spectrometer is configured to transmit RF signals to excite respective RF coils and to receive MR sensor signals from the excited respective RF coils responsive to excitation thereof. The spectrometer is configured to perform MR spectrometry to provide MR measurement data based on the received MR sensor signals for the respective channel. A synchronization module is coupled to the spectrometer of the respective channel. The synchronization module is configured to synchronize the spectrometer of the respective channel with spectrometers in other channels via a communication link.

Multi-channel magnetic resonance spectrometer modules and systems

This disclosure relates to tagging of materials and objects and analysis for authentication thereof. An example method includes analyzing separately a number of locations distributed across a given surface of a solid object according to one or more analysis technologies to determine feature data for each of the locations. The feature data are indicative of a respective chemical property and/or mechanical property of the solid object at each of the locations, corresponding to a feature tag, and the feature data depend on the one or more analysis technologies. The method also includes determining a tag signature for the solid object based on the feature data determined for each of the locations.

Tagging of materials and objects and analysis for authentication thereof

An example includes performing near infra-red (NIR) spectrometry to provide NIR measurement data for a sample compound. The method also includes performing magnetic resonance (MR) spectrometry to provide MR measurement data for the sample compound. The method also includes analyzing, by a computing device, the MR measurement data in view of the NIR measurement data to characterize the sample compound.

Multi-modal spectroscopic analysis

An apparatus, a system, and a chip are provided for improving RF system performance in MRI systems. The apparatus includes a radio-frequency (RF) coil array disposed at least partially in a coil housing, where the RF coil array may include at least one coil configured to receive magnetic resonance (MR) RF signals. The apparatus also includes a mixer disposed in the coil housing and electronically connected to the RF coil array, where the mixer converts MR RF signals from the RF coil array to intermediate-frequency (IF) signals. An electronic amplifier is disposed in the coil housing. The electronic amplifier is electronically connected to the mixer and is configured to amplify IF signals from the mixer to amplified IF signals.
