Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving video content streams from multiple source mobile devices and identifying that the video content streams pertain to a same event. Additional aspects may include identifying end mobile devices for the video content streams and determining a portion of the end mobile devices are coupled to one communication network and another communication network. Further aspects can include identifying a predicted traffic pattern on the first communication network based on the multiple video content streams pertaining to the same event and that the portion of the multiple end mobile devices are communicatively coupled to the first communication network. Additional aspects may include transmitting a portion of the video content streams across the first communication network and transmitting another portion of the video content streams across the second communication network according to the predicted traffic pattern. A method includes transmitting first data to a first cloud from a first device. The first data first data instructs the first cloud that a first item stored in the first cloud be made accessible to a second device via a second cloud that is coupled to the first cloud. A system for providing an information guide of a first end user device to a second end user device is provided. A method includes creating a first calendar event in an electronic calendar associated with a user. The first calendar event corresponds to a first viewing time and is associated with delivery of media content to a first device associated with the user. The method further includes rescheduling the first calendar event in response to determining that a scheduling conflict exists between the first calendar event and a second calendar event. Rescheduling the first calendar event includes modifying the first calendar event to correspond to a second viewing time and determining, based on the second viewing time, a second device to deliver the media content to. The second device is associated with the user.

System and method of content acquisition and delivery

Connectivity and/or content management in mobile networks is provided. Information associated with a mobile device of a plurality of mobile devices is determined. In various embodiments, the information can be current or past usage or travel pattern information for the mobile device. The mobile device is configured in association with delivery of content. The configuration is based, at least, on the information associated with the mobile device. The mobile device is configured to request accelerated content delivery if the mobile device is located within a good coverage area, and to request connection re-establishment priority if the mobile device is approaching or located within a poor coverage area or a handoff area.
