Systems and methods are disclosed for providing base station localization. In one embodiment the system includes a network including a base station such as a 5G gNodeB (gNB); a Hetnet Gateway (HNG) in communication with the gNB, wherein the HNG includes a location server and wherein the HNG virtualizes and abstracts a collection of base stations and provides a complex network under its purview as a simple base station to a mobile packet core network; a plurality of Hyper Sync Network (HSN) nodes in communication with the gNB and the HNG, wherein the plurality of HSN nodes listen to User Equipments (UEs) to locate the UEs and to synchronize clocks on the gNB with the collection of HSN nodes or other gNBs; and an Evolved Serving Mobile Location Center (E-SMLC) server in communication with the HNG and for reporting the location of a UE.

Sounding signals for sub-meter base station localization

A network defense system can include a sensor alert ingestion framework adapted to monitor network activity and alert detected or suspected anomalies. A network analyzer may be coupled to the sensor alert ingestion framework to analyze the anomalies. A course of action (CoA) simulator may be coupled to the network analyzer adapted to generate a list of decision including courses of action to address the anomalies. There may be a training and feedback unit coupled to the CoA simulator to train the system to improve responses in addressing future anomalies.

Network defense system and method thereof

A mobile infrastructure assisted ad-hoc network increases the number of nodes capable of being serviced by the network by selectively choosing those protocols for selected nodes which minimize overhead with the freed up bandwidth permitting an increase in the overall number of nodes serviceable by the ad-hoc network to as many as 1,000 nodes. In one embodiment node dynamicity is determining factor as to what protocol will be used.
