A method of manufacturing a 3D modeled object, includes modeling including applying a modeling solution to powder laid in layers, hardening the powder to which the modeling solution applied to form modeling layers, and sequentially stacking the modeling layers to form a 3D modeled object; and immersing the 3D modeled object modeled at the modeling in a removal solution to remove the powder to which the modeling solution is not applied. At the modeling, the modeling solution is applied such that a density of the modeling solution in an inside of the 3D modeled object is smaller than a density of the modeling solution in a surface of the 3D modeled object and an area of the powder to which the modeling solution is applied and an area of the powder to which the modeling solution is not applied are alternate in the inside of the 3D modeled object.

At that time, the amount of web conveyance (accumulation) is saved. Then, high-speed printing operation begins, and when the amount of printing has reached the amount of web conveyance saved, high-speed conveyance by the web feeding mechanism begins.

An image forming apparatus forms high precision full color image by correcting the adhesion quantity of an image visualizing agent and a position shift of a visible image while performing printing process. The image forming apparatus includes an intermediate transfer unit; plural photoconductors; plural charging units; plural exposure units; plural developing units; plural first transferring units; and plural second transferring units. The intermediate transfer unit has a correction pattern image formed in a region outside a predetermined maximum document region in a direction perpendicular to the moving direction. A detector in the intermediate transfer unit detects the correction pattern image. A correction controller performs correcting, based on detection results of the detector, setting values of one or more of the charging units, the exposure units, and the developing units when a region corresponding to an interval between the visible images passes a position beneath one of the units.

According to one embodiment, an image forming apparatus includes an image carrier, a image forming unit, a measurement unit and a controller. The image carrier includes a central region on which a target image as an object of an image forming is formed and a peripheral region placed outward of the central region. The image forming unit forms a reference image on the peripheral region and the central region, before the image forming is started. Also, the image forming unit forms the target image on the central region based on a preset condition and a third reference image on the peripheral region, during the image forming. The measurement unit measures a physical quantity for the reference images.

Image forming apparatus and toner adhesion amount correction method

An operator sets a distance from the page head of an alignment mark using a mark position setting switch mounted in a duplex printing system. A first printer forms the alignment mark in a position of the distance from the page head of a web, and reports position information about the alignment mark to a second printer. The alignment mark is detected by mark detection means of the second printer. The preparation process completes by the time of when a toner image for a first page formed on a photosensitive drum reaches a transfer point where the toner image is transferred onto a recording medium.

Laser power correction method and device for the same

A first printing device forms position alignment marks on a front surface of a web in addition to front-surface images. Information on interval of the printed alignment marks is transmitted to a second printing device, which is for forming rear-surface images on a rear surface of the web. The second printing device detects the position alignment marks. A controller controls a transport speed of the web in the second printing device such that the rear-surface images will be formed in position alignment with the front-surface images based on ideal detection timing and actual detection timing of the position alignment marks.

Tandem type printing system

A second printing unit includes a mark detection means for detecting a positioning mark that a first printing unit has formed on a front surface of a web. A control means controls web-transport speed in the second printing unit so that a time difference between a generation timing of a CPF-N signal and a detection timing of the positioning mark becomes constant, and also stores the web-transport speed into a memory. During a subsequent printing operation, a web-transport speed is controlled to be the same as the web-transport speed stored in the memory for a period until a positioning mark is first detected after the printing is started.

Printing system and method for printing on both surfaces of web

A second print device prints images on a rear surface of a web with no sprockets after a first print device prints images on a front surface of the web. A CPF-OFF signal is generated at a time of when an irradiating unit of the second print device completes irradiating for a last page. The second print device calculates, based on a web transport speed at the generation timing of the CPF-OFF signal, a time duration required for the web to reach a predetermined waiting position after the CPF-OFF signal was generated, and starts counting a clock when the time duration elapses from when the CPF-OFF signal was generated. After a last-page image is completely transferred from a photosensitive drum onto the web, the web is transported in a reverse direction by a distance corresponding to the count value, thereby positioning the web at a predetermined waiting position.
