A robot is provided. The robot includes an arm configured to turn around a turning axis and a cover including a first member having first rigidity and a second member having second rigidity higher than the first rigidity, the cover being provided on the arm, the second member being located in a position closer to the turning axis than the outermost periphery of the first member in a plan view from a direction of the turning axis.

A robot system includes a robot including a hand including a plurality of finger sections and a work device in which the robot performs work. The work device includes a first rotating body, a second rotating body configured to rotate in association with rotation of the first rotating body, a grip section provided in the first rotating body, and a setting section provided in the second rotating body, a target object of the work performed by the robot being set on the setting section. The robot grips the grip section with the finger sections to rotate the first rotating body.

Through holes are formed in a revolving gear which revolves while being engaged with a ring gear, and penetration pins which are configured to extract rotation of the revolving gear are inserted in the through holes. The ring gear and the revolving gear are divided into halves in the thickness direction. Two sheets of ring gears are biased to rotate in reverse directions.

Through holes are formed in a revolving gear which revolves while being engaged with a ring gear, and penetration pins for extracting rotation of the revolving gear are inserted in the through holes. The inner circumference of each through hole has a shape which becomes narrow toward its one end. A sliding member having a shape which becomes thin toward its one end is engaged with each penetration pin. The sliding member is biased in a tapered direction thereof by a biasing member to be in contact with the inner circumference of the through hole.
