An air intake structure of a saddle riding vehicle is disposed in the saddle riding vehicle in which a frame including a left and right pair of main frames and an air box are disposed, an intake passage is disposed between the main frames and an outer periphery of the head tube, and the intake passage includes: a front side intake duct that extends forward; and a rear side intake duct that couples the air box to the head tube. In the air intake structure of the saddle riding vehicle, the rear side intake duct is a separate body from the air box, the air box has a front surface on which an opening inserted through the rear side intake duct is provided, and the rear side intake duct is coupled to an intake passage from an inside of the air box through the opening.

Air intake structure of saddle riding vehicle

In a saddle riding vehicle including: a sprocket driven by a power transmission member; a sprocket support member that supports the sprocket and that is connected with a wheel; a damper member that is housed in a recessed portion in a hub of the wheel and disposed between the hub and the sprocket support member, the damper member being deformed through a relative rotation between the hub and the sprocket support member; and a resistance mechanism that dampens the relative rotation between the hub and the sprocket support member, the sprocket support member includes an extension portion that covers an outer periphery of the hub from an outside in a radial direction, and the resistance mechanism is disposed between an inner periphery of the extension portion and the outer periphery of the hub.

Saddle riding vehicle

An ECU is covered by a fuel tank and an upper cover which are vehicle body trim parts along with the upper surface of an air cleaner box. A frame holding duct is connected to the air cleaner box, the frame holding duct extends vehicle forward from the air cleaner box, is connected to a body frame, and is arranged inside an upper cowl, the upper cowl covering the front portion of the body frame, a branching portion of the intake air is arranged in the frame holding duct, and a branching passage extending from the branching portion is disposed between the upper surface of the air cleaner box and the fuel tank and the upper cover and is positioned in front of the ECU.

A wing member includes a first wing, a second wing, and a connection section connecting one-end sides of the first wing and the second wing. Both the wings are disposed with a spacing therebetween in the longitudinal vehicle direction, and the first wing is located on a vehicle body front upper side relative to the second wing. The connection section connects the one-end sides of both the wings that extend from a cowling toward a transverse-directionally outer side. A front edge of the first wing is inclined such that its transverse-directionally outer side portion is located on the vehicle body rear side relative to its transverse-directionally inner side portion, in plan view of the vehicle body. A rear edge of the first wing is inclined such that its transverse-directionally outer side portion is located on the vehicle body front side relative to its transverse-directionally inner side portion, in plan view.

Saddled vehicle

An intake duct has a front-rear two-split structure, and includes a rear duct connected to a body frame and a front duct connected to the rear duct. The rear duct includes a body frame connection portion that is connected to the body frame and is attached with a rear stay that supports a cowl and a meter, and the front duct is directed forward from the rear duct.

An air intake structure of a saddle riding vehicle disposed on a saddle riding vehicle that includes intake system components above an engine, the engine includes a plurality of cylinders aligned at least in front and rear, the intake system components include: funnels coupled to intake ports of the respective cylinders; and injectors facing openings of the respective funnels, the funnels and the injectors are arranged inside the air box, the air intake structure includes an air filter in a front side with respect to the funnel and the injector disposed in a cylinder in a front side. In the air intake structure of a saddle riding vehicle, the air filter is at least disposed so as to be oriented in a vertical direction in side view, and the air filter has a middle part on which a louver is disposed.

Motorcycle or motorcycle replica

An exhaust device for a multi-cylinder engine for connecting both exhaust passage members with a communicating hole formed in each one when the two exhaust passage members are to be spaced apart. A base plate has a through hole communicating with the communicating hole and a cover plate for covering the outside of the base plate. The outer circumferential area of the through hole of the base plate overlaps the outer surface of the exhaust pipe with the entire outer circumferential area of the through hole is welded to the exhaust pipe. The edge portions on both sides of the cover plate are welded to the base plate so as to surround the outer side of the through hole. The area extending between edge portions on both sides of the cover plate is welded to the front and rear edge portions of the base plate.

Exhaust device of multi-cylinder engine

An ABS modulator for a front wheel is supported on the side surface of an inclined portion located forward of a portion, having the largest width, of the right main pipe with a unit supporting stay in between, while being arranged in a space inside the front cowl covering the front side of the inclined portion. The ABS modulator is arranged on the outer side of the main pipe. Accordingly, it is possible to avoid a case where the arrangement space for other components is occupied by arranging the ABS modulator in a space on the inner side of the right and left main pipes, and to support the ABS modulator by utilizing the main pipes having a high rigidity. Further, the resulting configuration allows to ABS modulator to be located in a portion having a high rigidity without occupying a space for other components, such as an induction system.

Brake system for motorcycle

A parking brake operating lever is arranged to allow a rider to operate the operating lever without leaning forward to a large extent, while securely avoiding an inadvertent operation. An operating mechanism for a parking brake is provided to a position, covered with a front cowl, of a right-side main pipe, below a tank cover. The operating lever is positioned to be partly exposed from a lower end portion of the side surface of the front cowl. Since the operating lever is positioned in a vicinity of the front end portion of a seat, the operating lever is easy to operate. Concurrently, since the most part of the operating lever is covered with the front cowl, an inadvertent operation is avoided.
