A liquid supplying apparatus having a tank with a hole, a reservoir chamber to store a portion of liquid in the tank, and a flow path to store another portion of the liquid in the tank, is provided. The flow path connects the reservoir chamber and the hole. The flow path has a first funnel section to reduce a cross-sectional area of a part of the flow path. The first funnel section is located at a position equal to or higher than a surface of a predetermined maximum amount of the liquid storable in the tank in a usable posture. The first funnel section creates a meniscus with the liquid stored in the tank in an X1-rotated posture, in which the tank is rotated about a first axis by a first angle from the usable posture.

A liquid discharging apparatus, having a head, a reservoir section including a liquid reservoir chamber and an atmosphere communication path, a liquid flow path connecting the head with the liquid reservoir chamber, a switching assembly to switch states of the atmosphere communication path between a connecting state and a disconnecting state, and a controller, is provided. The controller is configured to control the switching assembly to switch the states of the atmosphere communication path from the connecting state to the disconnecting state; after switching the states of the atmosphere communication path, control the head to discharge the liquid; and after switching the states of the atmosphere communication path, and in response to a predetermined connection condition being satisfied, control the switching assembly to switch the states of the atmosphere communication path from the disconnecting state to the connecting state.

The head includes a nozzle and is configured to eject ink from the nozzle. The support member supports the head. The storage portion storing therein ink. A liquid discharging apparatus includes: a head having a nozzle which discharges liquid therefrom; a storing part, at least a part of the storing part being positioned above an opening of the nozzle, the liquid being stored in the storing part while forming a liquid surface; and an atmosphere communicating channel which communicates a gas layer of the storing part with outside of the storing part; and a valve unit which is switched between a communication state in which the valve unit communicates the gas layer of the storing part with the outside and a non-communication state in which the valve unit does not communicate the gas layer of the storing part with the outside. The valve unit is switched from the non-communication state to the communication state in a case that a power source is changed from a turned-on state to a turned-off state.

A printing device is provided with a print head having a plurality of nozzles configured to eject ink droplets therefrom, a supplier configured to supply ink contained in a container to the print head, and a controller. The controller is configured to perform obtaining ink information having correlation with a height of a liquid surface of the ink contained in the container, obtaining subject image data representing an image to be printed, generating print data based on the subject image data, and causing the print head to eject ink droplets based on the print data. There is provided a liquid discharge apparatus including: a head having a nozzle; a tank; a gas channel; a valve unit; a memory; and a controller. The controller is configured to execute: making of the valve unit to be in an open state, under a condition that a count value indicating an amount of a liquid discharged from the nozzle has reached an opening threshold value ΔV. The opening threshold value ΔV is represented by: ΔV≤(Vtmax−Vi)×Pm/(P−Pm). Note that Vtmax represents a volume of the tank, Vi represents the maximum amount of the liquid storable in the tank, P represents an atmospheric pressure, and Pm represents a meniscus-withstanding pressure of the liquid formed in the nozzle.

Liquid discharge apparatus

A liquid supplying apparatus, having a reservoir section including a reservoir chamber, and a communication section connecting the reservoir chamber and a hole, is provided. The communication section has a first wall and a second wall, a first buffer space, and a second buffer space.
