A motion guide device includes: a supporting body; a movable body which is movable along the supporting body; a roller which is configured to be rollable between the supporting body and the movable body; a roller holding member which is provided on the movable body to hold the roller, wherein the roller holding member comprises an upper roller holding member and a lower roller holding member, a protrusion is formed on the lower roller holding member, the protrusion is in a length direction of the movable body and opposite to a foot of the movable body, an opening is formed on the foot, the opening is opened to a side of the supporting body in the length direction to receive the protrusion, a protrusion width of the protrusion is greater than an opening width of the opening.

A linear guideincludes: a track railhaving a ball rolling groove; a movable blockhaving a loaded ball rolling grooveopposing the ball rolling groove, an unloaded ball rolling grooveextending in parallel with the direction in which the ball rolling grooveextends, and a direction change guide grooveconnecting the loaded ball rolling grooveand the unloaded ball rolling groove; and a plurality of ballsarrayed on an endless circulating path including a loaded ball rolling path, an unloaded ball rolling path, and a direction change pathformed by the track railand the movable block. The direction change pathhas a plurality of change points where the track changes. By having this configuration, it is possible to provide a linear guide which does not require an end plate.

A ball screw device or linear motion guide device has a seal member preventing dust and dirt from entering into a movable member of a linear motion guide device and seals out fine dust, dirt or like by surely contacting a seal to a shaft member without providing a large margin to the seal. The seal member includes a body portion mounted to the movable member and a lip portion contacting an outer portion of the shaft member, the lip portion has an oblique surface having an axial section inclining with respect to its axial direction, the body portion has an urging member urging the lip portion in a diameter direction of the shaft member and a reinforcing portion reinforcing the body portion. The urging member is located on the reinforcing portion side than the tip end of the lip portion in the axial sectional shape of the lip portion.

Seal member and linear motion guide device using same

There is provided a roller screw in which a twisted amount of an unloaded return path is reduced. The roller screw has a screw shafthaving a spiral roller-rolling surfaceon an outer peripheral surface thereof; a nuthaving a spiral loaded roller-rolling surfaceon an inner peripheral surface thereof, the spiral loaded roller-rolling surface being opposed to the roller-rolling surfaceof the screw shaft; a circulation memberarranged in the nutand formed to have an unloaded return pathconnecting one end and the other end of the loaded roller-rolling surface, whose turn number is less than one, of the nut; and a plurality of rollersarranged in a one-turn roller circulation path composed by a loaded roller-rolling pathand the unloaded return path. The circulation memberguides the rollers which have moved and arrived at the one end of the loaded roller-rolling pathhaving less than one turn, to the unloaded return path, and then returns the rollers to the other end of the loaded roller-rolling pathhaving less than one turn. The number of turns of the loaded roller-rolling pathis set to be less than one turn, whereby the rollerswhich have arrived at one end of the loaded roller-rolling pathcan be transferred to the other end of the loaded roller-rolling pathwithout changing their attitudes.

Roller screw and method of circulating rollers in roller screw

A rolling device having high silencing effect and requiring no positional alignment working to the seal is provided. The rolling device includes an inner member, an outer member and a number of rolling members disposed between these inner and outer members to thereby allow the outer member to carry out relative rotational motion with respect to the inner member. In such rolling device, an end plateis mounted to each end portion of the outer member. This end plateis provided with an end plate body, a packing memberdisposed on an abutting surface to the outer member and a seal memberslidably contacting the inner member with substantially no clearance. The end plate body, the packing memberand the seal memberare integrally formed.

A rolling-element screw device includes: a large number of rolling elements; a screw shaft having an outer periphery on which a rolling groove for the large number of rolling elements is helically formed; a nut member which has a through-hole through which the screw shaft is passed and which is threadedly engaged with the screw shaft through intermediation of the large number of rolling elements; a lubricant supply hole formed through the nut member from an outer peripheral surface of the nut member to an inner peripheral surface of the nut member; a lubricant tank mounted to the outer peripheral surface of the nut member and comprising an accommodating chamber for lubricant; and a lubricant applying body standing from the lubricant tank, and inserted into the lubricant supply hole along with amounting operation of the lubricant tank with respect to the nut member.

Rolling element screw device

Provided is a roller screw capable of preventing rollers moving from an unloaded return path to a loaded roller rolling path from coming into collision with a scooping portion. The roller screw has: a screw shafthaving a spiral roller rolling surfaceformed on an outer peripheral surface thereof; a nuthaving a loaded roller rolling surfaceformed in an inner peripheral surface thereof; a circulation memberhaving an unloaded return path connecting one end of the loaded roller rolling surfaceof the nutto an opposite end thereof; and a plurality of rollersarranged in a loaded roller rolling pathand the unloaded return path. In the circulation member, as a scooping portion that juts toward the screw shaftand provided for scooping the rollersmoving in the loaded roller rolling pathup into the unloaded return path, a pair of diagonal corresponding partsis provided which are in contact with diagonal partsof a rectangular side surface of each rollerand a width between which is gradually narrower as they are deeper in the unloaded return path in such a manner that a cross section of the unloaded return path is closer to a rectangle.

A linear actuator unit has a slide plate which is allowed to freely move along the outer rail while causing a cover to retreat. The linear actuator unit includes: an outer rail, which is formed into a cylindrical shape, and includes the slit-opening portion formed along an axial direction thereof; the slide plate (), which is coupled to an inner block in the hollow portion through the slit-opening portion; a cover belt, which is tensioned between both ends in a longitudinal direction of the outer rail so as to cover the slit-opening portion; a belt-guiding member, which separates the cover belt from the outer rail correspondingly to movement of the slide plate; and a seal member, which seals between the belt-guiding member and the cover belt and between the belt-guiding member and the outer rail.

A ball screw device having a novel ball circulation structure suitable for a screw shaft with a large lead, optimum for downsizing and weight saving of a nut member, capable of being manufactured at low cost, and capable of exhibiting high reliability even under severe use conditions. In a ball screw device where a screw shaft and a nut member are screwed to each other through an intermediation of a large number of balls, a no-load ball path which forms an infinite circulation path for the balls is constituted by a no-load ball groove spirally formed in an inner peripheral surface of a through-hole of the nut member and by a pair of direction change grooves which communicatively couple a load rolling groove and the no-load ball groove to each other so as to complete the infinite circulation path as a closed loop.
