An object of the invention is to provide a shock absorbing member enabled to reduce stress applied at the moment of impact to each part serving as an attaching portion. Shock absorbing member

A shock absorbing structure for a vehicle including a top wall to which a shock is to be applied and two side walls integrally formed with the top wall and extending from the top wall such that the side walls are opposed to each other, thereby forming an angular U-shaped cross section. The side walls have a waveform in which convex portions and concave portions are alternately and continuously provided. In addition, a bottom plate is integrally formed with an end portion of the respective side walls. The shock absorbing structure further includes a first window portion that is formed over a portion of the each side wall including a part of a bottom portion and parts of opposite side portions of the concave portions and a portion of the bottom plate that is connected to the bottom portion and that is positioned between the opposite side portions.

Shock absorbing structure for vehicle

A bumper absorber includes an upper leg and a lower leg, each of which extends in a longitudinal direction of an automobile, and a spanning portion. The spanning portion connects the upper leg and the lower leg, and faces an outer surface side of the bumper absorber in a longitudinal direction of the automobile. Each of the upper leg and the lower leg includes a buckling inductive portion that serves as a starting point of the buckling that is caused when the spanning portion receives an impact load. The buckling inductive portion is formed as an angular transition portion in which the angle of inclination between inner side surfaces changes. The inner side surfaces mutually face between the upper leg and the lower leg that include the buckling inductive portion.

Bumper absorber

A vehicle fender panel mounting structure is provided in which good protection capability may be obtained for pedestrians, even when the break line portion between the hood and the fender panel is disposed offset in the vehicle width direction further inside than the vehicle body side structural member that is the corresponding mount for the fender panel. In a body in which a break line portion, of the front fender panel and a hood, is disposed offset further to the inside in the vehicle width direction than an apron upper member, an impact absorption bracket, made up from an upper bracket and a lower bracket, is disposed in a cantilever supported state, and by rotational deformation in a direction, an outside second angled portion contacts an upright wall portion, and after that time, bending deformation occurs in a successive manner, originating at a bent portion, from an inside second angled portion toward an outside second angled portion. A reaction force in the latter half of F-S characteristics may thereby be obtained.

A pedal apparatus for an automobile comprises a plurality of pedals attached to a bracket fixed to a vehicle body via a plurality of parallel link mechanisms, a connection parallel link mechanism that connects a pair of the plurality of parallel link mechanism, and is provided with a pair of connection portions connecting the both parallel link mechanisms with the bracket, and an adjustment mechanism attached to the bracket, that arbitrarily prescribes the forms of each parallel link mechanism and the connection parallel link mechanism.

Vehicle pedal device assembly including a brake pedal device having brake pedal and adjusting mechanism operable to pivot adjusting link about support shaft and move the brake pedal through drive link in longitudinal direction of vehicle when the brake pedal is in non-operated state, and further including an accelerator pedal device having accelerator pedal, and pedal holding member which pivotally supports the accelerator pedal and which is disposed pivotally about mounting shaft, and wherein connecting link is provided to connect the pedal holding member and stationary member fixed to vehicle body, such that the pedal holding member and the accelerator pedal are moved in the longitudinal direction together with the brake pedal.
