A method and apparatus for the generative manufacture of a three-dimensional component in a processing chamber, in which the steps 'providing a metallic starting material in the processing chamber' and 'melting the starting material by means of energy input' are repeated multiple times, wherein a process gas is provided in the processing chamber are disclosed. The method is characterized by the steps: 1) the hydrogen content of the process gas or a sample of the process gas is determined; 2) the oxygen content of the process gas or a sample of the process gas is determined by means of an oxygen sensor and/or the dew point of the process gas or a sample of the process gas is determined; and 3) the values for the oxygen content and/or the dew point determined in step 2 are corrected by means of the value for the hydrogen content determined in step 1.

Method for the generative manufacture of a 3-dimensional component

A method () for pressing at least one article in an arrangement as well as a pressing arrangement (). The method comprises providing an article inside a load compartment and feeding a pressure medium into the pressure vessel and increasing () the pressure in the load compartment; increasing () the temperature and maintaining () the increased temperature and the increased pressure for selected periods of time (t, t); changing () the temperature from the first predetermined temperature level to a second predetermined temperature level (T); feeding () a carbon-containing gas into the pressure vessel; maintaining () the second predetermined temperature level for a selected period of time (t); reducing () the temperature in the load compartment; and discharging () the pressure medium from the pressure vessel and reducing () the pressure in the load compartment.

Method and arrangement for processing articles

A cold rolled strip () of aluminum is continuously transported along a transport path where a ramp of Direct Flame Impingement (DFI) burners () are located, for heating the strip. The ramp () is located perpendicular, or substantially perpendicular, to the direction of movement of the strip (), the DFI burners () are mutually located such that the whole width of the strip () is heated to the same, or substantially the same, temperature. The velocity of the strip () passing the ramp and the heating power of the burners () are adapted to heat treat the strip () such that annealing of the strip is carried out and the heat treated strip is wound to a coil ().
