Method and system are provided for security credentials management for client applications. The method includes: detecting a user is entering security credentials for authentication of a client application; hashing at least a portion of the entered credentials to obtain current hashed credentials and storing the current hashed credentials; and comparing the current hashed credentials to previously stored hashed credentials for the client application. If the current hashed credentials and the previously stored hashed credentials match, the method may store the credentials for automatic completion of the credentials for the client application.

Embodiments of the present invention are directed towards a computer-implemented method of detecting multi-factor authorization. The method includes detecting a user entering security credentials for a client application via a keypad. The method further includes determining that the user is using a single sign-on method of authentication method based upon a cadence of keystrokes used to enter the security credentials. The method further includes storing the security credentials in memory.

Multi-factor authorization detection and password storage system

Aspects of the present invention provide an approach for user authentication during a user session which potentially requires multiple user authentications. A library of authentication methods is provided for preforming the user authentications. For authentication, a threshold contribution value is set which needs to be exceeded for authentication to occur. To carry out the authentication, a chain of authentication methods is constructed at run time, selected from the library in order to provide an aggregate contribution value which exceeds the threshold. During run time, the contribution value of each authentication method is dynamically adjusted, so that construction of the chain uses current amounts for the contribution values of each authentication method. This allows the chain to be reconstructed at run time taking into account changing circumstances. Specifically, not yet executed authentication methods may be unlinked from the chain and replaced with one or more new ones.

Augmented reality links to stored files. A marker of a real object or a real location as viewed by an augmented reality (AR) device of a computer system is stored, in which the marker is stored in a database with a link to a location of a file or a folder in a file system of the connectable computer system. Saving and retrieval of a file or a folder to and from the connectable computer system are enabled by user selection of the real object or the real location via user interaction with the AR device thereby detecting the marker and activating the link to the computer system to save a file or a folder to the location or to retrieve a file or a folder from the location.

A method for managing a content overlay. The method included a processor identifying a first image and a second image from an augmented reality (AR) device. The method further includes identifying a first element of interest within the first image. The method further includes associating a corresponding first AR content overlay for the first element of interest. The display control system comprises: a focal point detection unit adapted to determine a point of focus of a user; and a processing unit adapted to determine an offset distance by which the determined point of focus of the user is spaced from the transparent display area, and to generate a control signal for modifying the transparency of the visual element based on the determined offset distance.
