The present invention relates to a kit, comprising: &#x2014;at least one capsule () for insertion in a beverage production machine and containing nutritional ingredients, preferably infant formula ingredients, the capsule having a cup-like base body () comprising an opening () being closed off by an outlet face (), and &#x2014;at least one capsule opening device () provided separately to the capsule (), the capsule () and the opening device () being provided with means for mechanically associating the opening device () to the capsule () by the consumer, preferably without using tools, the capsule opening device () comprising an integrally formed opening member () arranged to be operated by a user and designed for opening said outlet face () of the capsule ().

A capsule for preparing a beverage and/or nutritional product is disclosed that includes a body that forms a first compartment for liquid injection and a second compartment for containing beverage and/or nutritional ingredients. A separation wall separates the first and second compartments and includes an aperture for the liquid transfer from the first compartment to the second compartment. A separate liquid injector is inserted in and/or against the separation wall and is arranged for transferring liquid from the first compartment to the second compartment.

A capsule for use in a beverage production device, the capsule containing ingredients to produce a nutritional or food liquid when a liquid is fed into the capsule at an inlet face thereof, with the capsule being provided with a filter having a plurality of filtering orifices and a flow collection member placed downstream of the filter to collect the filtered liquid from the filtering orifices. The collection member includes at least one restriction orifice to focus the flow of liquid in at least one jet of liquid at high velocity in the compartment containing the ingredients. The invention is particularly advantageous for producing a nutritional liquid (e.g., infant formula) or a food from powdered ingredients.
