An operation method in a communication system may comprise: obtaining information on a per-beam required traffic amount; determining whether the per-beam required traffic amount can be serviced while satisfying a first condition according to a first model generated through pre-training in a first machine learning structure; in response to determining that the per-beam required traffic amount can be serviced while satisfying the first condition, calculating per-beam bandwidth allocation information based on the per-beam required traffic amount; calculating per-beam power allocation information based on the per-beam bandwidth allocation information; identifying whether an SNR condition included in the first condition is satisfied based on the per-beam power allocation information; and in response to identifying that the SNR condition is satisfied, outputting the per-beam bandwidth allocation information and the per-beam power allocation information.

The adaptive downlink packet transmission method includes the steps of: a) estimating a signal-to-interference-and-noise ratio (SINR) in a user terminal after channel equalization and despreading by measuring a downlink pilot channel; b) measuring an average interference factor and an average noise power; and c) allocating radio resources adaptively in the central station by determining transmission slots in a transmission frame, the number of spreading codes to be used in each transmission slot, symbol energy for each spreading code, and a transmission method, until transmission slots and packets to be allocated are not available.

Adaptive downlink packet transmission method in multicarrier CDMA system

Provided is an adaptive filter that can reduce the computational complexity. The adaptive filter includes: a segmentation unit for segmenting N number of input signals into G number of signal groups; sub-filter unit having G number of sub-filters, which are corresponding to each of the signal groups, for filtering the corresponding signal group; an addition unit for summating the output signals of the sub-filter unit; an error computing unit for generating an error signal by comparing the output signals of the addition unit with a desired signal; filter coefficient updating unit having G number of filter coefficient updating units, each of which is corresponding to each of the sub-filters, for updating the filter coefficient of the corresponding sub-filter; and a switching unit for inputting the error signal to any one of the filter coefficient updaters optionally with respect to an iteration number k.

A method for iteratively decoding a block turbo code includes: receiving a signal frame formed of a product code obtained by serially concatenating block codes; forming a reliability array for signal demodulation and initializing extrinsic reliability information; performing a complexity-reduced soft decision output Viterbi decoding algorithm for all of the codewords existing on a current axis and calculating extrinsic reliability using soft decision output information output as a result of the decoding; checking whether an iterative decoding completion condition is satisfied, and outputting a decoded value and terminating an iterative decoding process when the condition is satisfied; and normalizing reliability information when the condition is not satisfied, performing reliability equalization, and repeating the decoding process for a next axis.

Disclosed is an iterative decoding method using a soft decision output Viterbi algorithm (SOVA) for block turbo codes using product codes wherein block codes are concatenated by greater than three dimensions, which comprises: (a) a transmitter configuring a product code of greater than three dimensions and transmitting it; (b) configuring the signal transmitted by the transmitter into frames for decoding, and initializing external reliability information respectively corresponding to an axis corresponding to the product code of greater than three dimensions; and (c) sequentially iterating the soft decision output Viterbi algorithm (SOVA) decoding with respect to the respective axes.
