A transparent display device may have high transmittance and at the same time have high resolution. The transparent display device comprises a first signal line portion extended in a first direction, including a first sensing scan line, a second sensing scan line, an initialization line and a light emission control line, a second signal line portion extended in a second direction, a transmissive area provided between two adjacent first signal line portions and between two adjacent second signal line portions, and a pixel provided in an intersection area where the first signal line portion and the second signal line portion cross or overlap each other. The light emission control line overlaps the initialization line in at least a partial area.

Transparent display device capable of increasing size of transmissive area

Disclosed are a display panel in which a unit pixel is divided into a wide-angle area and a narrow-angle area in which at least sub-pixel is disposed and light emission is individually and selectively performed, a display device including the same, and a manufacturing method thereof. A semi-cylindrical lens is disposed in the wide-angle area so as to cover a plurality of sub-pixels. Semi-spherical lenses are disposed in the narrow-angle area so as to cover sub-pixels respectively. Therefore, a direction of light emitting from a light-emitting layer is controlled by adjusting a refractive index of each of the lenses in the wide-angle area and the narrow-angle area. Thus, a viewing angle is controlled.

A transparent display device may have high transmittance and at the same time embody high resolution. Moreover, the transparent display device may provide optimal picture quality. The transparent display device comprises a plurality of first signal lines extended in a first direction and disposed to be spaced apart from one another, a plurality of second signal lines extended in a second direction and disposed to be spaced apart from one another, a transmissive area provided between two first signal lines adjacent to each other and two second signal lines adjacent to each other, and a pixel disposed in an intersection or overlapping area where the first signal line and the second signal line cross or overlap each other, including a first subpixel emitting light of a first color, a second subpixel emitting light of a second color, and a third subpixel emitting light of a third color. The pixel includes a first pixel overlapped with a part of the first signal line of an odd row and a second pixel overlapped with a part of the first signal line of an even row, and the first pixel and the second pixel are different from each other in a position of at least one of the first subpixel, the second subpixel or the third subpixel.

An organic light emitting display device can include an organic light emitting diode (OLED), a driving transistor connected to an anode electrode of the OLED, a scan transistor, a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) and a sensing unit. The scan transistor is connected the anode electrode of the OLED and a data line. The DAC supplies a data voltage for displaying to the data line in a displaying period and supplies a data voltage for sensing to the data line in a sensing period. The sensing unit obtains an anode voltage of the OLED as a sensing voltage through the data line in the sensing period.

Organic light emitting display device having improved pixel structure configuration

The present disclosure provides a display device including a display panel and a scan driver. The display panel has a display area for displaying an image. A scan driver is arranged in a non-display area of the display panel, and includes circuits for generating scan signals and a scan driver having signal lines for transferring signals and voltages for driving the circuits. Each of the circuits is composed of a plurality of stages and disposed along the display area, and the signal lines are disposed outside the circuits.

A display device optimized to operate in a low frame rate mode under certain predetermined conditions is provided. To reduce pixel discharge during the low frame rate mode, the display device employees the TFTs with metal oxide semiconductor layer, the optical alignment layer with an upper portion and a lower portion having different resistivity. In addition, a passivation layer is provided between the optical alignment layer and the pixel or the common electrode for compensating the low resistivity of the lower portion of the optical alignment layer. As such, various visual defects associated with the pixel discharge can be reduced even when the display device is operating under the low frame rate mode.
