Proposed is a tire with self-generation and sound absorption and, more particularly, is a tire with self-generation and sound absorption that operates an electronic module through self-power generation and has improved sound absorption performance. The tire with self-generation and sound absorption includes: a wall structure formed on a surface of an inner liner of the tire; a sound absorber spaced apart upward from the inner liner with both ends coupled to the wall structure and blocking sound generated by surfaces of treads and a road surface; and an electronic unit disposed on the surface of the inner liner and positioned between the inner liner and the sound absorber.

The disclosed technology generally relates to apparatuses for reducing or cancelling noise generated by a tire in motion, and more particularly to a noise-reducing apparatus including a sound-absorbing foam and a fixing structure for attaching and fixing the sound-absorbing foam to a tire. In one aspect, the noise-reducing apparatus for a tire includes a sound-absorbing foam configured to reduce noise generated by the tire by absorbing sound generated by the tire in motion when attached to an inner liner of a tire. The noise-reducing apparatus additionally includes a plurality of fixing bands configured to fix the sound-absorbing foam to an inner side of the tire. Each of the fixing bands has an attaching portion configured to be fixed to the inner side of the tire and has a pressing portion configured to bring and keep the sound-absorbing foam in contact with the inner liner. The pressing portion is configured to apply an elastic force on the sound-absorbing foam by extending and contracting. The disclosed technology also relates to a tire having the noise-reducing apparatus and a method of integrating the noise-reducing apparatus to a tire.

Noise-reducing apparatus for tire and tire having same

The disclosed technology generally relates to tires, and more particularly to a method of and a smart tire system for evaluating a state of a tire, and providing an alarm, and to a smart tire configured for the method and the system. In one aspect, a method includes determining whether an abnormality or a problem exists in a state of a tire, by processing a tire state value from a TPMS sensor. Processing the tire state can be carried out by a sensor processor and/or a sensor information processor. The method additionally includes providing an alarm to a user, e.g., a driver. The method additionally includes verifying the determination of whether there is an abnormality or a problem. Thus, the disclosed method includes determining the state of a tire and providing an alarm, where the alarm has high reliability because it is generated based on examination of various parameters of the tire state, including, e.g., pressure, temperature and/or acceleration. The disclosed technology additionally relates to a system and a smart tire configured to implement the method. The method, the system and the tire according to embodiments may be improvements over existing methods, systems and tires.
