Disclosed herein is a display device. The display device includes a plurality of data lines to supply data signals, a plurality of pixels each including a light-emitting element, a first transistor to control current flowing through the light-emitting element, and a second transistor connected between the first transistor and one of the plurality of data lines, and a conductive pattern disposed on and connected to the second transistor through a first contact hole. The data line is disposed on a layer different from that of the bridge pattern, and is connected to the bridge pattern through a second contact hole. The first contact hole and the second contact hole overlap each other, when viewed on a plane.

Display device

A display device includes a display panel having first and second display areas. A data driver provides data and bias voltages to data lines. A timing controller controls the data driver and a scan driver based on at least two operation modes. The first mode drives the first and second display areas at a normal frequency, and the second mode drives the first display area at a first frequency substantially equal to or lower than the normal frequency and the second display area at a second frequency lower than the first frequency. The second mode includes an active frame to write a reference voltage to display a black image in the second display area, and blank frames to maintain the reference voltage and apply the bias voltage to the pixels in the second display area. The data driver varies the bias voltage in the blank frames.

A display device includes: a plurality of pixels; a first pixel unit comprising a first portion of the plurality of pixels; a second pixel unit comprising a second portion of the plurality of pixels; and a data driver configured to supply a data voltage to the first pixel unit and the second pixel unit, wherein the data driver is configured to generate a data voltage to be supplied to the first pixel unit based on different gamma voltages even when the same grayscale is expressed according to a driving method, and the second pixel unit is configured to be driven or not driven according to the driving method.

A display device is disclosed. In one embodiment, the display device includes a first conversion unit receiving gray data and outputting a gray data value of a second gamma curve, which has a luminance equal to a luminance of the gray data on a first gamma curve. The device may also include a memory storing a look-up table (LUT) which includes first and second data groups and compensated gray data for the second gamma curve. The device may further include a reference unit generating the compensated gray data based on the two converted gray data. Coordinates formed of i) each value in the first data group and ii) each value in the second data group may correspond to any one of the compensated gray data.
