A ratio between a first weight ratio (WR) of the QD in the PLCP and a second WR of the QD in the LCP is about 1:1.1 to about 1:3.0. The first WR is a WR of the QD in the entire PLCP, and the second WR is a WR of the QD in the entire LCP.

A display device includes a display element configured to generate a first color light, an encapsulation member on the display element and including an inorganic layer at an outermost portion thereof, a color conversion layer on the encapsulation member and including a first color conversion part configured to transmit the first color light, a second color conversion part configured to convert the first color light into a second color light, and a third color conversion part configured to convert the first color light into a third color light, and a buffer layer between the encapsulation member and the color conversion layer, wherein a difference in refractive index between the buffer layer and the inorganic layer is about 0.5 or less.

At least one of the polymer resin or the dispersant includes a same material as the shell and the ligand binds to the polymer resin or dispersant that includes the same material as a shell.

Here, the functional layer includes a color filter layer including a plurality of color filters and a plurality of first light shielding layers each disposed between the plurality of color filters, a light control layer including a plurality of light control parts overlapping the plurality of color filter layers, respectively, wherein at least one of the plurality of light control parts includes a quantum dot, and a heat conductive layer. The heat conductive layer includes at least one of metal, graphite, and silicon carbide.

A mother substrate for a color conversion substrate includes: a substrate including a display area and a tag area, where the tag area is disposed around the display area and includes a plurality of sub-tag areas; a first ink layer disposed in some of the sub-tag areas and having a first color; and a second ink layer disposed in some of the sub-tag areas and having a second color different from the first color. A volume of the first ink layer in each of the some of the sub-tag areas is different from each other, or a volume of the second ink layer in each of the some of the sub-tag areas is different from each other.

A display device includes a light-emitting element layer and a light control layer. The light control layer may include a plurality of separated partition wall parts including a partition wall part, a color control part between the partition wall parts, the color control part including quantum dots and a first scattering particle, and a coating layer covering a side of the partition wall part adjacent to the color control part. The coating layer includes at least one selected from a substitution dispersant and a substitution scattering particle, and each of the substitution dispersant and the substitution scattering particle may include at least one substituent selected from an amine group and a carboxyl group. The amine groups and the carboxyl groups included in the coating layer may be different in number from each other.

A display device includes a base substrate, a plurality of display elements, a first light control layer, and a second light control layer. The base substrate includes a pixel region and a peripheral region adjacent to the pixel region. The display elements are disposed on the base substrate, overlap the pixel region in a plan view, and are configured to generate a first light. The low refractive index layer has a refractive index lower than a refractive index of the first color conversion layer and a refractive index of the second color conversion layer.
