The electronic device includes a display, a memory, a communication interface, a sensor module configured to sense at least one of a state of the wearable electronic device or a state of a user, an input device configured to receive at least one of a movement input or a rotation input, and at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to, in response to receiving the message from the external device, enter an easy message mode depending on a predetermined condition, analyze the message to generate a plurality of reply messages, and change the plurality of reply messages in response to a user input to the input device.
