A camera module is provided. The camera module includes a lens barrel configured to accommodate a lens; a barrel holder coupled to the lens barrel; a driving device configured to drive the barrel holder; and a first reinforcing member integrated with the barrel holder, and configured to support a driving magnet of the driving device, wherein the first reinforcing member includes a body portion disposed to oppose the driving magnet and extending in a length direction of the driving magnet; a first protrusion which extends from a first end of the body portion in a direction opposing a driving coil of the driving device; and a second protrusion which extends from a second end of the body portion in a direction opposite to an extending direction of the first protrusion.

Camera module with reinforced lens driving device

A camera module includes a housing having an interior space; an Auto Focusing (AF) carrier disposed in the interior space of the housing and housing a lens barrel; a lens holder to which the lens barrel is fixed and accommodated in the AF carrier; an Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) driver configured to drive the lens holder to move in a first direction or a second direction perpendicular to an optical-axis, wherein the first direction and the second direction are perpendicular to each other within the AF carrier; and an OIS stopper including an inward protrusion protruding from one inner surface of the housing in the first direction towards the lens holder, and an outward protrusion protruding from one outer surface of the lens holder towards the one inner surface of the housing and opposite the inward protrusion in the second direction.

A camera module is provided. The camera module includes a housing unit; a carrier, accommodated in the housing unit, and configured to move in an optical axis direction; a lens module, accommodated in the carrier, and in which one or more lenses are disposed; and a buffer member disposed on a side surface of the carrier, and configured to protrude in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis direction, and having a length in the optical axis direction, wherein the side surface of the carrier, on which the buffer member is disposed, has a length extending in the direction perpendicular to the optical axis direction.

A camera module includes a housing, a lens module accommodated in the housing, a first optical image stabilization (OIS) driving unit configured to move the lens module, relative to the housing, in a first direction perpendicular to an optical axis direction, and a second OIS driving unit configured to move the lens module, relative to the housing, in a second direction perpendicular to the optical axis direction and intersecting the first direction, wherein the first OIS driving unit includes first voice coil motors disposed on both sides of the lens module in the first direction, and the second OIS driving unit includes second voice coil motors disposed on both sides of the lens module in the first direction.

A lens driving apparatus includes a shake compensation unit configured to move in directions perpendicular to an optical axis, and ball members supporting the shake compensation unit, such that a degree of freedom for one of the ball members is different from a degree of freedom for another of the ball members.

A camera module includes a driving assembly configured to drive a lens module in a direction intersecting an optical axis. The driving assembly includes: a driving magnet member; auxiliary magnet members arranged on opposing sides of the driving magnet member and arranged to have polarities different from a polarity of the driving magnet member in a first direction; and a driving coil including portions extending along boundaries between the driving magnet member and the auxiliary magnet members.

A camera module includes: a magnet disposed on a lens module; a bearing member disposed in a ball guide portion formed between the lens module and a housing that accommodates the lens module; a coil disposed in the housing to face the magnet; and a yoke member disposed on the housing to interact with the magnet to generate a biased magnetic force.
