Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for enabling and disabling of automatic gain control (AGC) symbols in sidelink. An example method, performed at a first user equipment (UE), includes determining configuration information indicating that mini-slot transmissions, within a full-slot, are allowed, and transmitting, to a second UE, a full-slot sidelink transmission that includes a first symbol configured for automatic gain control (AGC), wherein the full slot transmission also includes one or more additional symbols configured for AGC if at least one condition is satisfied.

Disclosed are systems and techniques for wireless communications. In one example, a method for wireless communications performed at a user equipment (UE) can include receiving one or more sidelink communications including a plurality of data packets. In some aspects, the method can include determining a respective priority level associated with each data packet of the plurality of data packets. In some examples, the method can include transmitting at least one Physical Sidelink Feedback Channel (PSFCH) message using a PSFCH format, the PSFCH format including a plurality of Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) responses corresponding to at least a portion of the plurality of data packets, wherein the portion of the plurality of data packets are arranged based on the respective priority level associated with each data packet of the plurality of data packets.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may identify a first radio bearer to be used for sensing operations and a second radio bearer to be used for data communications. The base station may transmit, to a user equipment (UE), a control message indicating the first radio bearer and the second radio bearer, where the first radio bearer and the second radio bearer may be indicative of a resource allocation for the sensing operations and the data communications. The UE may perform the sensing operations in accordance with a resource allocation, and perform the data communications in accordance with the resource allocation, where the resource allocation may be based on the first radio bearer and the second radio bearer. The UE may perform the sensing operations and the data communications in accordance with a joint communication and radar (JCR) system.

Generally, the described techniques provide for determining a suitable pattern for transmitting reference signals used for positioning on allocated resources. In particular, the pattern may be used to assign the reference signals to frequency tones across multiple symbols such that the frequency tones to which the reference signals are mapped in at least two consecutive symbols are non-adjacent (e.g., separated by at least one frequency tone). In some cases, a wireless device may determine the pattern used to assign reference signals used for positioning autonomously (e.g., based on configured algorithms or a look-up table), and, in other cases, a wireless device (e.g., a user equipment (UE)) may determine the pattern used to assign reference signals used for positioning based on a configuration received from another wireless device (e.g., a base station).

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a relay user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network node, a first message, the first message indicating beam switching information for a target UE. The relay UE may transmit, to the target UE, a second message based at least in part on the first message, the second message indicating the beam switching information for the target UE. This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) systems that support positioning of ESL devices. In a first aspect, a method includes: determining known positions of a first subset of ESL devices; receiving positioning measurements for each ESL device in a second subset of ESL devices; estimating a first position of each ESL device in the second subset based on the positioning measurements received for that ESL device and the known positions of the first subset; determining a positioning error associated with the first position of each ESL device in the second subset; and estimating a second position of each ESL device in the second subset based on the positioning error and additional positioning measurements received for that ESL device. Self-positioning of electronic shelf label (ESL) devices through inter-ESL links

A position of a user equipment (UE) may be determined using downlink based solutions (e.g. OTDOA), uplink based solutions (e.g. UTDOA), or combined downlink and uplink based solutions (e.g. RTT). The serving gNBs may request neighboring gNBs to produce downlink reference signal transmissions to a target UE and/or measure uplink reference signal transmissions from the target UE. The serving gNB may receive the uplink reference signal measurements from neighboring gNBs and obtain an own uplink reference signal measurement and forward to the UE or another network entity all the uplink reference signal measurements. The UE may use the uplink reference signal measurements, along with the UE's own downlink reference signal measurements to determine RTTs. The serving gNBs or another entity may keep the uplink reference signal measurements and may determine RTTs after receiving the downlink reference signal measurements from the UE.
