Systems and techniques are described herein for extended reality. For instance, a method for extended reality is provided. The method may include providing common virtual content for display at a first device, the common virtual content viewable at a second device; receiving, at the first device, a radio-frequency (RF) signal from the second device; making one or more measurements of the RF signal; determining relative-position information associated with the first device and the second device based on the one or more measurements; determining that a relative-position condition is satisfied based on the relative-position information; and modifying the common virtual content for display by at least the first device based on the relative-position condition being satisfied.

Multi-user extended-reality content

This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support visual sensing for positioning. In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes receiving a first image of an object from an image capture device. The method also includes receiving location information that includes a coordinate point, a position of the UE determined based on the coordinate point, or a combination thereof. The coordinate point is generated based on a relative orientation between the UE and a network entity, and a matched pair of points including a first point of the first image and a second point of a second image of the object captured by the network entity. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Visual sensing for positioning

A beam pattern processing device includes: one or more memories; a transceiver; and one or more processors, communicatively coupled to the one or more memories and the transceiver. The one or more processors are configured to: configure a beam pattern information to include a sampling method of a plurality of sampling methods defining a sampling grid; send a request, including the beam pattern information, for a sampled beam pattern of the network device; and receive the sampled beam pattern obtained based on the beam pattern information.

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for signaling a user equipment (UE) to put a sidelink (SL) component carrier (CC) into dormancy or take the SL CC out of dormancy, such as mode 1 or mode 2 sidelink communications. In one example, a method performed by a UE includes receiving an indication to put a first CC into dormancy; and putting an SL CC into a dormant state in response to the indication. In another example, a method includes transmitting an indication that the first UE will put an SL CC into a dormant state; and receiving an acknowledgment (ACK) of the indication.

This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support enhanced ESL position determination and ESL position based notifications. In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes obtaining first position information for an asset of one or more assets associated with an electronic shelf label system based on first wireless information, and the first position information is associated with a first time. The method also includes obtaining second position information for the asset based on second wireless information, and the second position information is associated with a second time. The method further includes determining a notification for the asset based on the first position information, the second position information, the first time, and the second time. Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may establish, with a second UE, a first sidelink associated with a first layer 2 (L2) identifier of the second UE and a second sidelink associated with a second L2 identifier of the second UE, wherein the first L2 identifier is different than the second L2 identifier. Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A first user equipment (UE) may select a sidelink beam for a second UE configured to be connected to the first UE based on a sidelink transmission configuration indicator (TCI). The sidelink TCI may include a sidelink pathloss reference signal identifier, or a sidelink power control identifier, or both. The first UE may transmit a sidelink pathloss reference signal to the second UE configured to be connected to the first UE. The sidelink pathloss reference signal may be associated with the sidelink pathloss reference signal identifier of the sidelink TCI.

Sidelink power control with unified transmission configuration indicators

Disclosed are techniques to determine a position of a user equipment (UE). In an aspect, the UE receives a plurality of positioning reference signals (PRS) from a plurality of cells. The UE determines a plurality of time of arrivals (TOA) of the plurality of PRSs, and prunes the plurality of TOAs based on the plurality of PRSs. The UE then derives a time difference of arrival (TDOA) vector from the pruned TOAs. The TDOA vector includes multiple TOA related measurements of multiple cells. The UE prunes the TOAs such that the cells represented in the TDOA vector are sufficiently geographically dispersed to determine the position of the UE at least in 2D.

Simplified cell location information sharing for positioning purposes

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may select one or more transmission types for communication on a plurality of beams during a time period based at least in part on transmission type priorities, and communicate on the plurality of beams during the time period based at least in part on selecting the one or more transmission types for communication. In some other aspects, a base station may receive an indication of one or more transmission types that a user equipment selected for communication on a plurality of beams during a time period and receive the one or more transmission types the UE selected for communication on the plurality of beams. In some further aspects, a network node for wireless communications may determine configuration information for a positioning reference signal, PRS, operation by a user equipment and transmit the configuration information to a base station that schedules communications for the UE. Transmission type selection for beam switching

This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for a user equipment (UE) entering a dormant state with respect to a secondary cell group (SCG) of a node network (SN) having a primary serving cell (PSCell). In one aspect, the UE may maintain a parameter set for at least the PSCell while the UE is in the dormant state with respect to the SCG. For example, the UE may receive a parameter change message from either the SN or a master network (MN) and transmit a parameter change acknowledgment to either the SN or the MN. The parameter change message may be transmitted as one or both of a downlink control information (DCI) or media access control (MAC) control element (CE). The UE may transmit physical layer measurements to the SN based on the parameter set.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. For example, a communication device may receive control signaling (e.g., a broadcasted control signal) from another communication device. The control signaling may indicate beam information for one or more beams of a set of beams. The one or more beams may correspond to the serving cell or one or more neighboring cells. The beam information may include one or more metrics associated with each of the one or more beams. As such, the communication device may determine that a metric associated with each of the one or more beams satisfies a threshold, select the beam, and communicate using the selected beam. In some other examples, the beam-specific information may include beam measurement offsets for one or more beams. In such examples, the communication device may select a beam based on the beam measurement offsets and perform communications using the selected beam.

Beam-specific key performance indicator indication for serving node selection

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. For example, the described techniques provide for performing and reporting suitable measurements, at a first user equipment (UE), on reference signals from relay UEs to determine which relay UEs to activate or deactivate for relaying communications for the first UE. The first UE may be configured to perform measurements on deactivated relay UEs, and the first UE may report these measurements (or other measurements) when one or more events are triggered. The events may depend on the measurements performed on the deactivated relay UEs. Once the events are triggered, the first UE may report the measurements, and a second UE or a network entity may use the measurements to efficiently determine which relay UEs to activate or deactivate for relaying communications for the first UE.

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for enabling and disabling of automatic gain control (AGC) symbols in sidelink. An example method, performed at a first user equipment (UE), includes determining configuration information indicating that mini-slot transmissions, within a full-slot, are allowed, and transmitting, to a second UE, a full-slot sidelink transmission that includes a first symbol configured for automatic gain control (AGC), wherein the full slot transmission also includes one or more additional symbols configured for AGC if at least one condition is satisfied.
