In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives, from a network entity, beam shape assistance information for one or more downlink transmit beams of a base station, the beam shape assistance information representing a beam shape of each of the one or more downlink transmit beams, the beam shape of each of the one or more downlink transmit beams having a quantization, and determines an angle between the UE and the base station based at least on the beam shape assistance information and signal strength measurements of positioning reference signal resources transmitted on the one or more downlink transmit beams.

PRS measurement sharing for virtual UE

Aspects are directed to a wireless measurement entity that performs a carrier phase measurement associated with a reference signal for positioning (RS-P) measurement for a position estimation of a user equipment (UE). The wireless measurement entity determines error information associated with the carrier phase measurement. The wireless measurement entity transmits the RS-P measurement to a position estimation entity, and further transmits the carrier phase measurement and an indication of the error information to the position estimation entity. The position estimation entity determines a position estimate of the UE based on the RS-P measurement, the carrier phase measurement, and the indication of the error information.

A UE may be configured with at least one SRS hopping configuration associated with an SRS hopping pattern, and the UE may obtain the SRS hopping pattern based on the at least one SRS hopping configuration and at least one hopping offset. Here, the SRS hopping pattern may include one or more subsets of hopping patterns and each subset of hopping patterns including a subset of consecutive SRS transmission occasions may be associated with a hopping offset. A UE may perform a partial sensing procedure to identify one or more available resources for a sidelink transmission of the UE and transmit the sidelink transmission on a resource selected from the one or more available resources. The sidelink transmission may include at least one of a HARQ retransmission parameter or an MCS selected for the sidelink transmission based on at least one of a number of candidate slots for the partial sensing procedure, a quantity of the one or more available resources within the number of candidate slots, or a number of times that a threshold for a minimum amount of the one or more available resources is increased.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a positioning reference signal configuration of a base station. The UE may determine, based on the positioning reference signal configuration, a reference point within a carrier bandwidth of a component carrier and a frequency domain allocation for a positioning reference signal relative to the reference point. The UE may transmit the positioning reference signal or measure the positioning reference signal based on the frequency domain allocation.

A UE includes a processor configured to determine whether to prioritize processing of a first reference signal relative to a priority reference that comprises a second reference signal and/or a priority reference channel. The first reference signal comprises a positioning reference signal. Positioning signal prioritization

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for conveying information via medium access control (MAC) control element (CEs). In some cases, the MAC-CEs may relate to sidelink communications between two user equipments (UEs). A first wireless node may send the first MAC-CE on at least one of a sidelink or a cellular link and provide providing routing information for the first MAC-CE. The routing information may indicate, for example, a source node, a destination node, or a transit route through one or more nodes. The routing information may also indicate whether traffic sent with the first MAC-CE is relayed traffic or traffic originating at the first node.

Sidelink medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) designs

Systems and techniques are described herein for extended reality. For instance, a method for extended reality is provided. The method may include providing common virtual content for display at a first device, the common virtual content viewable at a second device; receiving, at the first device, a radio-frequency (RF) signal from the second device; making one or more measurements of the RF signal; determining relative-position information associated with the first device and the second device based on the one or more measurements; determining that a relative-position condition is satisfied based on the relative-position information; and modifying the common virtual content for display by at least the first device based on the relative-position condition being satisfied.

Multi-user extended-reality content

This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support visual sensing for positioning. In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes receiving a first image of an object from an image capture device. The method also includes receiving location information that includes a coordinate point, a position of the UE determined based on the coordinate point, or a combination thereof. The coordinate point is generated based on a relative orientation between the UE and a network entity, and a matched pair of points including a first point of the first image and a second point of a second image of the object captured by the network entity. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Visual sensing for positioning

A beam pattern processing device includes: one or more memories; a transceiver; and one or more processors, communicatively coupled to the one or more memories and the transceiver. The one or more processors are configured to: configure a beam pattern information to include a sampling method of a plurality of sampling methods defining a sampling grid; send a request, including the beam pattern information, for a sampled beam pattern of the network device; and receive the sampled beam pattern obtained based on the beam pattern information.

Beam pattern information indication in positioning and sensing

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for signaling a user equipment (UE) to put a sidelink (SL) component carrier (CC) into dormancy or take the SL CC out of dormancy, such as mode 1 or mode 2 sidelink communications. In one example, a method performed by a UE includes receiving an indication to put a first CC into dormancy; and putting an SL CC into a dormant state in response to the indication. In another example, a method includes transmitting an indication that the first UE will put an SL CC into a dormant state; and receiving an acknowledgment (ACK) of the indication.

This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support enhanced ESL position determination and ESL position based notifications. In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes obtaining first position information for an asset of one or more assets associated with an electronic shelf label system based on first wireless information, and the first position information is associated with a first time. The method also includes obtaining second position information for the asset based on second wireless information, and the second position information is associated with a second time. A first user equipment (UE) may select a sidelink beam for a second UE configured to be connected to the first UE based on a sidelink transmission configuration indicator (TCI). The first UE may transmit a sidelink pathloss reference signal to the second UE configured to be connected to the first UE.
