A method, a system, and a computer program product for generating and using contextual and adaptable parameters for monitoring of various processes. A plurality of standard parameters for use during execution of a computing process by a computing system are received. At least one standard parameter in the plurality of standard parameters is modified in accordance with one or more contextual features associated with the execution of the computing process. The computing process is executed by the computing system using a combination of at least one standard parameter in the plurality of standard parameters and the at least one modified parameter.

In one aspect, a method is described that includes receiving, at a data warehouse, a query associated with a view for a report being presented at a client device user interface; processing, by the data warehouse, the query to identify data responsive to the query; evaluating the identified responsive data to determine whether there is corresponding metadata indicating a portion of the identified responsive data includes blocked natural persons data; when the blocked natural persons data is determined, evaluating the corresponding metadata to determine whether the block is a total block or a partial block; generating, based on the evaluated metadata, a result set including a predetermined value to mask the blocked natural persons data; and providing the generated result set including the predetermined result set to a server handling the view. Example embodiments of a two-model user interface system are described. In an example embodiment, first information of a user interface model is presented via a user interface, the first information of the user interface model based on data available at a data processing system. User input indicating a selected portion of the first information is received via the user interface. A communication model is updated to include the selected portion of the first information, and the user interface model is updated to include an indication of the selected portion of the first information. The selected portion of the first information is communicated from the communication model to the data processing system based on the updating of the communication model.

A first user selection of the association with the second data source is received via the user interface. Example embodiments of compatibility checking for user interface customization are described. In an example embodiment, a first user interface view including first data items is accessed, each of the first data items referencing a corresponding data item of a data source. Whether the first user interface view is referenced by a second user interface view is determined. Based on the first user interface view not being referenced by a second user interface view, changes to any of the first data items of the first user interface view are allowed during a design time of the first user interface view. Based on the first user interface view being referenced by the second user interface view, one or more of the first data items of the first user interface view being referenced by the second user interface view are identified, and changes to the identified data items are prevented.
