An electronic device and its screen control method are disclosed. The electronic device may include a flexible display configured to change a size of a display area and at least one processor. The at least one processor may, based on a first screen being displayed in the display area of a first size, receive an input for changing the display area into a second size The at least one processor may, based on the display area being changed to the second size according to the received input, control the display to display a second screen which changes the first screen in response to the second size in the display area changed into the second size. The second screen may include, among a plurality of elements in content, a first element corresponding to an element in the first screen and a second element of the content.

Electronic device having flexible display with variable size and reference position and screen control method thereof

An electronic device may include a housing, a display including a touch sensor panel, wherein the display is configured to move with respect to the housing so that at least one portion thereof is exposed from the inside of the housing to the front surface of the electronic device, and at least one processor operatively connected to the display. An electronic device including a rollable display is provided. The electronic device includes a housing including a main body, a first planar part disposed at one end of the main body, and a second planar part disposed at another end of the main body and disposed in parallel to the first planar part, a rollable display drawn out from an interior of the housing or inserted into the interior of the housing through a slit formed in a direction perpendicular to the first planar part, and a handler member combined with an end of the rollable display and including a first magnet. An operating method of an electronic device is provided. The method includes measuring an external temperature of the electronic device by using at least one sensor. The method may calculate, from an entire region of a flexible display, a fixed region that is visually exposed to an outside regardless of a screen size of the electronic device, and a variable region that is visually exposed at least in part to the outside in a screen expansion or screen size change state of the electronic device. The method may compare the external temperature with a preset first threshold temperature, thereby determining heating of the variable region in response to the external temperature being less than the first threshold temperature. The method may heat the variable region by controlling at least one of a luminance or a driving frequency of the variable region.
