Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of vehicle technologies, and disclose a method for establishing communication between a vehicle diagnosis device and a vehicle. The method is applied to a vehicle communication interface device. In the method, when a channel establishment instruction of the vehicle diagnosis device is received, a CAN controller in an idle state in at least two CAN controllers is determined, and then a communication parameter is set for the CAN controller in an idle state. Further, when a specified communication pin set of the vehicle diagnosis device is received, it is determined whether a CAN controller connected to the specified communication pin set is in an idle state. If yes, a communication channel from the vehicle diagnosis device to the specified pin set is established according to a communication parameter in the CAN controller connected to the specified communication pin set, so that the vehicle diagnosis device is communicatively connected to the vehicle through the specified pin set. In the method, no switch is required between the CAN controller and the communication pin set, so that the CAN controller can be easily and quickly allocated.

Embodiments include: a first interface connector module configured to read an operation performed by a user on an interface, and convert the operation into a corresponding diagnostic instruction; a first protocol converting module configured to convert the diagnostic instruction into standard transmission data corresponding to the diagnostic instruction; and a first software interface module configured to send the standard transmission data corresponding to the diagnostic instruction through the first communication unit. Further embodiments include protocol conversion between a physical layer and a data link layer that consumes memory resources and processor resources is totally or partially run on the automobile diagnostic device, allowing the diagnostic connection device to only partially (or not at all) run the protocol conversion between the physical layer and the data link layer.

The automobile diagnostic method is applied to a vehicle communication interface, the method including: acquiring a vehicle identification number of a vehicle based on a first communication protocol; determining a first diagnostic protocol according to the vehicle identification number; acquiring and storing to-be-diagnosed information of the vehicle based on the first diagnostic protocol; and after a connection is established to a diagnostic host, sending the to-be-diagnosed information to the diagnostic host. In the foregoing way, according to the embodiment of the present invention, efficiency of automobile diagnosis may be improved.

Automobile diagnostic method, apparatus and vehicle communication interface

The present invention provides an OBD interface bus type detection method and apparatus. The method includes: determining a first bus feature of a connection cable associated with a selected pin in an on-board diagnostics OBD interface; matching the first bus feature with an OBD interface bus library and determining a bus type of the connection cable associated with the selected pin; determining, according to the bus type of the connection cable associated with the selected pin, a second bus feature of the connection cable associated with the selected pin; and sending the second bus feature to a vehicle diagnostic instrument, to enable the vehicle diagnostic instrument to perform communications protocol scanning on the selected pin in the OBD interface according to the second bus feature. According to the present invention, a communications protocol meeting the second bus feature may be directly used by the vehicle diagnostic instrument to perform diagnostic scanning on the selected pin, thereby reducing scanning interference for different bus types.

The present invention provides a vehicle bus-based communication method and apparatus, a computer device and a storage medium. The vehicle bus-based communication method includes: monitoring data flows transmitted through a vehicle bus by vehicle electronic control units; determining undetected data flows in to-be-obtained data flows when the monitoring reaches a first time length; broadcasting data flow obtaining requests through the vehicle bus, the data flow obtaining requests specifying queries for the undetected data flows; and obtaining data flows that are fed back through the vehicle bus in response to the data flow obtaining requests. When data flows of a vehicle are obtained through a vehicle bus, data flows on the vehicle bus are first obtained in a monitoring manner, thereby ensuring data flow obtaining efficiency. After the monitoring is performed for a period of time, data flows that are not obtained in a monitoring-and-obtaining manner are obtained by sending corresponding data flow obtaining requests to the vehicle bus, so that it is ensured that relatively more complete data flows of the vehicle can be obtained.
