A display device includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels which are connected to a plurality of gate lines and a plurality of data lines and display a plurality of consecutive frames of images, a data driver driving the data lines, a gate driver driving the gate lines, a clock generator outputting a gate clock signal, which drives the gate driver and swings between a gate-on voltage and a gate-off voltage, and a signal controller outputting a gate pulse signal which drives the clock generator and a data control signal which controls the data driver. The clock generator includes a voltage maintainer maintaining the gate clock signal at a reference voltage that has a fixed value between the gate-on voltage and the gate-off voltage for a predetermined time.

Display device improving response speed of a gate clock signal or eliminating delay in the gate clock signal

A display device includes: a display panel; a driving voltage generator; a power voltage generator; an input voltage generator; and a timing controller. The display panel is provided with a pixel configured to emit light by using a driving voltage. The driving voltage generator is configured to supply the driving voltage to the pixel. The power voltage generator is configured to generate power voltages for driving of the display panel by using an input voltage, and generating an input voltage sensing value by sensing the input voltage. The input voltage generator is configured to supply the input voltage to the power voltage generator. The timing controller is configured to control an operation of at least one of the driving voltage generator, the power voltage generator, and the input voltage generator according to the input voltage sensing value.

The present inventive concept provides a display device including a pixel unit which includes pixels, a sensing unit connected to the pixels through sensing lines, a first power voltage generator connected to the pixels through a first power line and generating a first power voltage for driving the pixels, a second power voltage generator connected to the pixels through the first power line and generating a second power voltage for sensing the pixels, and a timing controller selectively controlling operations of the first power voltage generator and the second power voltage generator according to a driving method of the pixel unit, and a method driving the same.

A light unit includes a DC/DC converter. A plurality of unit light emitting diode columns receive a voltage applied from the DC/DC converter. A current deviation compensating unit compensates for deviations between currents respectively flowing through the plurality of unit light emitting diode columns by a pulse current width modulation average current control method. A connection switch sequentially connects the current deviation compensating unit with the plurality of transistors. A resistor is connected to output terminals of the plurality of transistors. A switch controller controls connection between the connection switch and the current deviation compensating unit based on a signal applied to the resistor.

Light unit and display device including the same

A light emitting device includes a light emitting unit and a constant current controller. The light emitting unit includes at least one LED string. The constant current controller is connected to a cathode terminal of the LED string and controls a driving current flowing through the LED string. The constant current controller includes a transistor connected to the cathode terminal of the LED string. A switching unit and a sensing resistor are connected to the transistor. The switching unit connects and disconnects between the sensing resistor and the transistor.
