A battery receptacle capable of receiving an external battery for an electronic device includes a receiving portion, a joint portion, a power input interface, and a power output interface. The receiving portion receives the external battery and includes a first receiving room and a second receiving room. The joint portion joins the battery receptacle to the electronic device. The power input interface electronically connects with an electrode of the external battery. The power output interface electronically connects with an external power connector of the electronic device.

Battery receptacle

A hinge mechanism includes a shaft with shaft portion, shaft sleeve, first torque spring, and first sliding member. The shaft sleeve defines a through hole for the shaft portion extending through, a slot extending substantially parallel to the through hole, and forms hooks extending from two opposite sides of the slot. The first sliding member goes over the shaft sleeve, and the first torque spring includes a first end fixed to the shaft and a second end extending through the slot and then fixed to the first sliding member. The first torque provides torque to prevent the shaft sleeve from rotating to the shaft. When the first sliding member is moved along the shaft sleeve to compress the first torque spring, the torque can be adjusted.

Hinge mechansim with adjustable torque

A shock absorber includes a cylinder, at least two magnetic blocks, and a connection rod. The cylinder includes a first end, an opposite second end defining a slide hole, and absorption particles are filled in the slide hole. The at least two magnetic blocks are fit in the slide hole and the proximate end surfaces of two adjacent magnetic block have the same magnetism. The connection rod includes a flange portion and a rod portion. The flange portion defines a receiving hole for receiving one of the at least two magnetic blocks.

Shock absorber

A computer mouse includes a housing, a cable, and an elastic cable retainer. The cable is capable for connecting the computer mouse to a host device. The elastic cable retainer defines a number of holes for allowing the cable to pass through. When the housing moves, the cable retainer stretched by the housing, allowing the cable to change from a compressed state to an extended state.

A fixing device for fixing a first element to a second element is provided. The fixing device includes a main body including at least one leg, at least one biasing member movably mounted on the at least one leg for generating a compressive force. At least one hook member rotatably connected to an end of the at least one leg, cooperating with the biasing member to fix the first element to the second element. A heat sink assembly using the fixing device are also provided.

A laser marking machine includes a support portion, a laser marking device fixed on the support portion, a control chip and a fixing mechanism fixed on the support portion. The fixing mechanism includes a support board configured for supporting a workpiece, and four positioning blocks moved, and four motors being able to control the four positioning blocks to slide in the support board. The fixing mechanism further includes at least two position detectors. The two position detectors are able to position detector a distance data of the workpiece deviating from a center of the support board along X and Y axes, and transmit the distance data to the control chip. The control chip analyzes the distance data to control the four motors to respectively drive the four positioning blocks to slide in the support board until the workpiece is centered on the support board.

Laser marking machine

An electronic device includes a main body including a guiding portion, and a back cover and a cover ejection mechanism. The cover ejection mechanism includes an ejection member and a locking member. The ejection member includes a sliding block defining an inclined surface. The locking member includes a locking element defining a first inclined surface and a second inclined surface, and en elastic element. To close the back cover, the back cover is rotated and the sliding block is pushed to slide. When the inclined surface touches the first inclined surface, the locking element is pushed to move, causing the elastic element to be compressed. After the sliding block slides over the locking element, the elastic element rebounds to push the locking element to return to an initial position where the sliding block is blocked by the second inclined surface of the locking element.

Electronic device with cover ejection mechanism

A power strip includes a base, a casing, at least one latching member, and at least one first elastic member. The case includes at least one cover. Each cover includes at least one first hook. The cover is able to move between a first position and a second position. Each latching member is slidably connected to the base and includes at least one second hook. Each first elastic member is received in the base and capable of providing a spring force to keep one cover to be in the first position. When the cover is moved to the second position, the first hook engages the second hook to keep the cover in the second position. When the latching member is operated to cause the first hook disengages from the second hook, the cover is pushed to the first position due to the spring force of the first elastic member.

Power strip with safety cover

An EMI spring contact for shielding EMI comprises a first section having a first end and a second end opposite to the first end, a second section connected to the first section and extending up and angularly from the first end of the first section, a third section connected to the second section and extending down from the second section, and a fourth section connected to the third section. An acute angle is formed between the first and second sections, and a first through hole is defined in the second section. The fourth section extends up and angularly from the third section through the first through hole of the second section and is movably received in the first through hole.

A lock is applied in an electronic device including a main body and a display. The display includes a first hook able to pass through the main body. The lock includes a base, a rack, a shaft and a gear. The rack is slidably connected to the base and includes a second hook. The shaft is secured to the base. The gear is rotatably connected to the shaft and engages the rack. The gear defines a latching slot to receive a portion of a key, which allows the gear to rotate together with the key to cause the rack to slide. The second hook is moveable together with the rack to a position where the second hook engages the first hook to lock the display to the main body. An electronic device using the lock is also provided.

Lock and electronic device using the same

A port locking device is fixed to an electronic device. The port locking device comprises a keyhole and a key. A port and a processing unit are connected by a magnetic metal. To lock a port of the electronic device, the key is received in the keyhole. After the key is pressed downwards to a plane on which a port switch of the keyhole is positioned, the key magnetizes a first magnetic object in the keyhole. As the key is rotated, the first magnetic object magnetizes the magnetic metal to cease connection between the port and the processing unit of the electronic device, and the port is locked.

Port locking device

An electrical connector includes a socket and a plug. The socket includes a sidewall and defines at least one latching hole. One end of each of the at least one latching hole is defined in the sidewall. The plug includes a main body, at least one latching mechanism, and a switch. The main body includes a first surface and a second surface. The main body defines at least one receiving space, a first groove, and a second groove. The at least one latching mechanism is partially received in the receiving space. The switch is positioned in the second groove and partially external to the first groove. The at least one latching mechanism can slide to engage the switch by an external force, and the switch can cause the at least one latching mechanism to disengage from the switch by an external force.

Electrical connector assembly, plug, and socket

An audio jack connector includes a dielectric housing defining an inserting hole, a movable member, a rotation member, two first switch terminals and two-second switch terminals. The movable member is movably received in the dielectric housing. The rotation member is rotatably received in the dielectric housing. Elastic protrusions protrude from one end of the rotation member. Recessed portions form between every two protrusions. Ends of two first and second switch terminals respectively include a prong, and opposite ends are received in the recessed portion. A plug connector is inserted into the inserting hole, and pushes the movable member to move. The rotation member is driven to rotate to drive the ends of the two first switch terminals and the two second switch terminals to move from the recessed portion to the protrusion, causing the prongs to stay contact with the plug connector.
