An organic electroluminescent device with enhanced performance includes anode and cathode electrodes with organic material, single or multiple layers, positioned therebetween and in juxtaposition to each of the electrodes. The organic material is doped with an AMC dopant with a concentration in a range of approximately 0.1 Wt % to 15 Wt % in a region of the organic material adjacent to the cathode electrode.
