A sample collection device includes a tube, a closure and a partitioning member. The tube includes an opening and is used to receive a sampling swab. The closure is engaged with the tube for enclosing the opening. The partitioning member is disposed in the tube and includes a blocking portion and a position-limiting portion. The blocking portion is disposed close to the opening and covers a portion of the opening so as to leave another uncovered portion as an entrance for passing the sampling swab therethrough. The position-limiting portion is connected with the blocking portion and extended into the tube, so as to limit the sampling swab in a space corresponding to the entrance inside the tube after the sampling swab passes through the entrance.

Sample collection device

An integrated nucleic acid processing apparatus includes a first operation area, a second operation area and a separation wall. The first operation area includes multiple carrying boards for placing objects and reagents for processing nucleic acids in samples, and multiple operation modules for performing operations of nucleic acid processing. The second operation area includes two extraction regions for respectively performing nucleic acid extractions. The separation wall separates the first operation area from the second operation area and includes two openable door sheets spatially corresponding to the two extraction regions. Nucleic acid extraction plates can be moved from the first operation area to the second operation area by means of the carrying boards as the two openable door sheets are opened, and be isolated in the second operation area for performing nucleic acid extractions as the two openable door sheets are closed.

Integrated nucleic acid processing apparatus

An optical calibration tool includes a first body, a light emitter, a light receiver, a second body, and a light reflecting member. The first body has a first engaging port and a second engaging port. The light emitter and the light receiver are disposed in the first body. The second body has a third engaging port and a channel communicated with each other. The third engaging port is configured to selectively engage one of the first engaging port and the second engaging port. When the third engaging port is engaged with the first engaging port, the light emitter is optically coupled to the light reflecting member. When the third engaging port is engaged with the second engaging port, the light receiver is optically coupled to the light reflecting member.

Optical calibration tool

The present invention provides an extraction cassette, which includes an extraction module and a liquid receiving module. The liquid receiving module communicates with the extraction module. The liquid receiving module includes a receiving module body, a sample compartment, a sealing member, an alcohol compartment and a first path. The receiving module body includes a first side, a second side and a sample feeding hole. The sample compartment is formed on the receiving module body. The sample compartment communicates with the sample feeding hole, the sample compartment includes a first sample compartment connection hole and a second sample compartment connection hole. The sealing member is adapted to seal the sample feeding hole. The alcohol compartment is formed on the receiving module body. The alcohol compartment communicates with the first sample compartment connection hole of the first sample compartment via the first path.

Method for extracting nucleic acid and extraction cassette thereof

Extraction cartridge

The present invention provides an extraction cassette, which includes an extraction module. The extraction module includes an extraction module body, an expansion compartment, a reaction compartment, a filter, a collection compartment, a first waste-liquid compartment and a second waste-liquid compartment. The expansion compartment is formed on the extraction module body. The reaction compartment includes a reaction compartment inlet, a reaction compartment outlet and a reaction compartment notch, the expansion compartment is connected to the reaction compartment notch, and the reaction compartment notch is located between the reaction compartment inlet and the reaction compartment outlet. The filter is disposed in the reaction compartment and corresponding to the reaction compartment outlet. The collection compartment communicates with the reaction compartment outlet. The first waste-liquid compartment communicates with the reaction compartment outlet. The second waste-liquid compartment communicates with the reaction compartment outlet.

A microscale sampling device including a frame is provided in the present invention, a sample container, a communicating channel and a resistance channel are defined in the frame. At least one sampling chamber is defined in the communicating channel. An end of the communicating channel is communicated with the sample container and the communicating channel is arranged below the sample container. An end of the resistance channel is communicated with the sampling chamber, and the other end of the resistance channel is communicated to an output joint. The resistance channel is shaped with at least one discontinuous shape change.

Automated nucleic acid analysis detector

A nucleic acid extracting device includes an upper module, a lower module, and a material for capturing nucleic acid. The lower module has a sample reservoir receiving a sample, an elution reservoir receiving an elution, and a nucleic acid capturing chamber with the material disposed therein. The upper module has a sample channel that communicates with the sample reservoir, and an elution channel that communicates with the elution reservoir. The nucleic acid capturing chamber communicates with the sample channel and the elution channel. When a sample enters the nucleic acid capturing chamber via the sample channel, a nucleic acid in the sample is absorbed by the material in the nucleic acid capturing chamber, and the elution enters the nucleic acid capturing chamber, via the elution channel, to wash the nucleic acid out of the nucleic acid capturing chamber.
