A packing wrapper for an absorbent article, the wrapper having a protective layer. The wrapper also has a first functional layer attached to the protective layer giving the wrapper a multiple functionality.

Multi function wrapper

A method of applying structural elements to an absorbent article is disclosed. The absorbent article includes a top sheet and a back sheet. The expandable ink is applied to the top sheet, and the expandable ink is activated to obtain three-dimensional structural elements on the top sheet. An absorbent article is disclosed and includes a top sheet provided with structural elements. The structural elements consist of expandable ink that has been applied to the top sheet and has been subsequently activated to form three-dimensional structural elements.

Method of applying structural elements to an absorbent article

A male incontinence protector includes a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction, a front end portion with a front end edge, and a rear end portion with a rear end edge. The article includes an absorption member having an upper side intended to face a wearer during use of the article and a lower side intended to face away from the wearer during use of the article, and a stiffening element that, at least during use of the article, provides the article with a predetermined shape that enhances the fit of the article to the wearer's body. The stiffening element is secured to the lower side of the absorption member such that an outer side of the stiffening element faces away from the absorption member. The stiffening element includes a material exhibiting mechanical fastening properties at least on a part of the outer side of the stiffening element.

An absorbent article having front, crotch and rear portions and an absorbent core of unitary construction. The core has a first region with two legs extending in the longitudinal direction of the article through at least parts of the crotch portion towards endings in the rear portion. A maximum distance between facing sides of the legs in the transverse direction is, in the crotch portion, located at a position in the longitudinal direction corresponding to a crotch point. Furthermore, the facing sides of the legs converge backwards such that a distance between them is reduced from the maximum distance to a minimum distance in the rear portion. In addition, the core has a second region surrounding the first region and the average density of the core is lower in the second region than in the first region.

Breathable backsheet

Absorbent article, such as a sanitary towel, with a stiffening area which is intended to contribute to the three-dimensional shape of the article during its use. The stiffening area is in a plane state before use of the article. The stiffening area comprises a first part area and a second part area which extends in the longitudinal direction of the article over the crotch portion and is separate from the first part area. The first stiffening part area has a width which exceeds the distance between the muscle tendons of the wearer on both sides of the crotch of the wearer in the groin of the latter.
