An ejection head unit is attachable to an inhaler for ejecting a medicine to cause a user to inhale the medicine and has a plurality of ejection heads having an element generating energy for ejecting the medicine, and a plurality of ejection nozzles through which the medicine is ejected by the element. An inhaler for ejecting a medicine to allow inhalation thereof by a user has an air flow path guiding a medicine that is inhaled accompanying inspiration by the user to a suction port, an ejection head unit having a plurality of ejection heads including an element generating energy for ejecting the medicine and a plurality of ejection nozzles through which the medicine is ejected by the element, and a positioning unit for positioning a single ejection head among the plurality of ejection heads at an opening provided in one portion of the air flow path.

Inhaler and ejection head unit attachable to the inhaler

Provided are a medicine ejection device capable of realizing appropriate ejection by surely setting an inner pressure of a medicine tank at a negative pressure in an initial period of every ejection time, and a control method for the medicine ejection device. A medicine container section that contains medicine is coupled to a medicine ejection section including nozzles from which the medicine is ejected, and elements which generate energy for ejecting the medicine from the nozzles. A plug as a movable wall positionally shifts so that a capacity of the medicine container section can increase or decrease in accordance with a predetermined pressure difference between an inside and outside of the medicine container section. Prior to opening a head cap, the capacity is increased so as to generate pressure variations in a negative pressure direction, which have a larger value than a value equivalent to the predetermined pressure difference.

Medicine ejection device and control method therefor

A liquid ejection device of the present invention includes an inhaling port portion, an ejection head for ejecting a liquid to be inhaled by a user through the inhaling port portion, a first sensor for detecting an action of the user relating to inhalation, a second sensor for detecting another action of the user relating to inhalation, the second sensor being different from the first sensor, and a determining portion for determining an operation of ejecting the liquid of the ejection head in response to both a first signal output from the first sensor and a second signal output from the second sensor, wherein the determining portion enables ejection of the liquid from the ejection head when both the first signal and the second signal are signals indicating inhalation intention of the user.

Liquid ejection device

A medicine ejection device is provided allowing a medicine with a desired droplet diameter to be inhaled at a constant rate. The medicine ejection device has a decision part at which the ejection operating conditions of a medicine ejection part for ejecting the medicine are decided in accordance with at least one of an open-air environment or a state of the medicine during use of the device. The device ejects the medicine according to the ejection operating conditions decided by the decision part.

Medicine inhaler and medicine ejection method

An ejection apparatus for ejecting droplets of liquid includes a loading portion, a reader, and a judging unit. The loading portion detachably loads therein a liquid cartridge container for containing liquid, and a liquid ejection cartridge having an ejecting portion for ejecting liquid separately, or as a combined kit. The reader reads information attached to at least one of the liquid cartridge container and the liquid ejection cartridge. The judging unit judges, based on the information read by the reader, whether each of the liquid cartridge container and the liquid ejection cartridge loaded in the loading portion is appropriate, or whether a combination of the liquid cartridge container and the liquid ejection cartridge is a predetermined combination. A recording apparatus for recording an image on a recording medium by scanning a recording head, includes a scan unit for scanning the recording head by changing the scan speed of the recording head, and a control unit for controlling the scan unit to change the scan speed of the recording head according to the resolution of image data to be recorded by the recording head so as to perform recording. A recording controller for controlling the recording apparatus is also disclosed.

A radio transmit-receive unit can perform the communication processing stably without being affected by high frequency noise with the system activation of a computer unit, whereby if a communication processing request from the radio transmit-receive unit occurs, the computer unit sets the system state of a sub-CPU being activated to a rest state, a counter starts clocking the signal receive time of the radio transmit-receive unit when the system state of the sub-CPU is in a rest state, and a latch circuit holds electric field strength information of carrier received by the radio transmit-receive unit upon the termination of clocking by the counter. And the computer unit switches the system state of the sub-CPU being at rest to an active state, based on the end state of clocking by the counter, to restart the activation of the computer unit.
