Lockout device

A wire sleeve hand application tool includes a handle and a plurality of mandrels received in the handle and being selectively extendable from an axial end of the handle. Each of the mandrels are biased into a retracted position in which an entirety of the respective mandrel is received in the handle. Each of the mandrels are further axially extendable to an extended position in which an axial tip and a portion of the respective mandrel extends from the axial end of the handle while an opposite axial end of the respective mandrel remains supported within the handle. An extended mandrel may be used to insert a wire sleeve or tubular marker onto a wire or other elongate member.

Wire sleeve hand application tool

A lockout/tagout or smart isolation device includes a wireless link, a non-volatile memory, and a controller in communication with the wireless link and the non-volatile memory. The wireless link is in selective communication with a wireless identification device, such as a keycard, carried by a user. The controller is programmed to receive a signal from the wireless link and write usage information about the device to at least a portion of the non-volatile memory such that the portion of the non-volatile memory storing the usage information cannot be erased or re-written thereby securely storing this usage information. This lockout/tagout or smart isolation device may be standalone or be part of a system that may potentially serve as part of a facility-wide safety system (for example, networked or in communication with a SCADA system).

Lockout/tagout device with non-volatile memory and related system

A lockout device for securing a circuit breaker switch is provided. The lockout device comprises an outer housing having side walls extending away from a base wall formed on one axial end of the outer housing to define a cavity. An arm is received within a portion of the outer housing. The arm received within a portion of the housing, the arm having a hook section and an engaging section positioned apart from one another to receive the circuit breaker switch therein. A spring is positioned between the base wall and the arm and biases the outer housing axially relative to the arm. A screw extends through the engaging section of the arm toward the hook, and is movable between the engaging section and the hook.

Circuit breaker lockout device

A lockout device configured to prevent access to a pipe flange connection comprises a bar, a pair of opposed cup sections, and an engagement mechanism. The pair of opposed cup sections may each include a main cup segment coupled to the bar and a hinged cup segment hingedly coupled to the main cup segment. One or more of the main cup segments can be slidably coupled to the bar and the engagement mechanism can be configured to selectively prevent the main cup segments(s) that is/are slidably coupled to the bar from sliding relative to the bar. This engagement mechanism or latch can be hinged on a side of the bar opposite a side of the bar on which the engagement mechanism includes openings for receiving one or more locks.

Dual cup lockout device

A label dispensing device is disclosed for dispensing labels from a web that has a web path extending through the label dispensing device. The label dispensing device includes a dispensing member and a transition member. The dispensing member is shaped to effectuate a flexure of the web and includes a peel edge disposed along a portion of the web path. The transition member has a web control surface disposed along a portion of the web path. The web control surface is downstream of the peel edge and is configured to engage the first side of the web, thereby reducing the flexure of the web effectuated by the dispensing member.
